From what i see, its almost as if they burn in every piece.

The rise of those fabless semicon players is mainly due to the rise of TSMC. Why couldnt TSMC just build their own burn in plant and offer a full service? Seems a little too much trouble to ship form tsmc to burn in then to outlets or wherever.

Unless they are fabless players whose orders are too small to use TSMC services, and thus they have to find their own burn in company (I'm assuming TSMC have their own burn in facilites)

Is there any edge to KESM? It seems like an anyone can do it kind of business to be honest. Where by the only saving grace is growing industry, which with luck, should provide a couple more years of better than average profit. At most.

Because it is a low margin, high capex, cost intensive process. There are companies who do it, I believe Intel does in-house. But for others, it's more profitable to focus on the upstream process. In fact, many players don't even want to do upstream process, they just want the juiciest part of the industry, and that gave rise to fabless semicon players.

Let me chip in my 2 cents: Stock market is a place to make money, not a place to prove theory. The only thing you need to prove, is your ability to withstand the stress. And your ability to learn. Other than that, just do nothing and relax. Talk too much serve no purpose.

On the third, yes. However, allow me to just humbly say, WB said very clearly its earnings we are buying, not assets, as we are not liquidators.

I have some schlossian tendencies, but those are very small and diversified holdings. But if we compare my picks to my actual fund. It is those that pulled down my actual returns this year.

But its just one year, too hard to make any significant conclusion from that.

Having said that, i stick strongly to my perspective that, if your money does not have an eternity timeline, or at least 5 -10 years. Lower the amount until you reach that figure. Keep the rest in FD or ASB (if you're muslim).

Tonight you need to improve your reading comprehension.

My investor don't lose money, because their principal is guaranteed along with profit. Read the fund information. But dont email me about your money tks.

By your metric, warren buffet should have stopped investing at the age of roughly 23.

The target to beat is the index. Which i have beat.

Of course a good positive long term result is also needed. Its possible for one to beat the japan index every single year for the last 20 years and lose money.
