HLB IB and other IBs may come in to collect Dnex shares next week. Dnex share price likely to see a stronger rebound next week because other IT stocks has gone up a lot this week.

@KingDavid, it is still too early to estimate how much Maybak IB will manilateDnex share price to save their warrants CC & CD expiring on 29/4. At current Dnex share price of 1.07 and warrant price for CC at 4.5 sen and CD at 3 sen, the Premium of CC is 11 sen and CD is 20 sen. Premium of a warrant varies with current Dnex share price and warrant price. Looks like we have more to worry about CC before expiry end of next month as it has lower premium. as Dnex share price rises, premium will fall and vice versa, assuming warrant price remains unchanged. Then 5 trading days before expiring of the warrant, IB likely to start manipulate to control Dnex price to reduce its CC premium to zero or positive. If premium is 0 or +ve, the warrant get burnt on expiry. If premium -ve, then IB has to pay out cash for settlement. Assuming CC price unchanged at 4.5 sen at the end of next month before its expiry date, then mostly likely Maybank will try to manipulate to control Dnex share price at about 1.17 (1.07+0.10) before CC & CD expire on 29/3.

Tomorrow (25 Mac) is the last trading day before the expiry date (28 mac) of CA. Today is the last trading day for CA, closing at 3.5 sen. Dnex at today's closing price of 1.04, premium for CA is 0. Settlement price for CA is calculated based on 5-day average closing price of Dnex before CA expiry date (i.e. avrage closing prices of this whole week). As Monday to Thursday's Dnex clsong prices are 1.03, 1.03, 1.03, 1.04. If tomoorow Dnex price closing at 1.07, the 5-day average closing price is 1.04. My guess is RHB (IB) will try to control Dnex share price tomorrow to close at 1.07 or below so that premium for CA is zero or positive and they don't have to make any cash payout for seltlement of CA.

@ KingDavid, Call warrants issued by IBs are all cash settled on expiry. The last share price (so-called settlement price) of a stock (eg. Dnex) used to calculate its expiring calll warrant (eg. Dnex-CA) whether is in the money (there is cash return to warrant holder) or out of money (no cash return, warrant get burnt), IB don't use the closing price of last trading day before expiring ( easing to manipulate), they use the 5-day average closing price before expiry.

No way retailers can fight with IBs, they have unlimited shares to sell. Just be patient, wait for next week, Dnex share price likely to rebound strongly next week after CA has expired on Monday.

The settlement price at expiry is calculated based on the 5-day average closing price of the underlying stock prior to and excluding the expiry day. So 5 trading days before expiry date, IB will start pressing down.

Yes, RHB is blocking it from going up. Its call warrant CA with exercise value 0.90 is expiring on 28th Mar. So RHB is going all out to block share price from going up this week to save its expiring CA. Expect Dnex share price to rebound strongly next week.

So obvious PM and RHB IBs are blocking the share price from going up too much as their call warrants are expiring end of this month, CE expiring on 22nd and CA expiring on 28th. Expect last week of the month will see a stronger rebound after CA expired.

@3M, you don't get confused and don't try to confuse others. The uCustom provide by Dnex is called NSW, whereas the new uCustom exposed by MACC recently is the new software supposed to be developed to replace the NSW of Dnex. So it has nothing to do with Dnex.

The supplier couldn't get it running after sp many years. That is why NSW contract of Dnex get extend for many time and for many years.

In a way the failure of the new uCustom project will benefit Dnex. We can expect Dnex's NSW contract will get extended for many times and for many more years.

uCustom has nothing to do with Dnex. uCustom is suppossed to be developed to replace NSW of Dnex many years ago, but the supplier couldn't get it running. That is why NSW contract of Dnex get extend for many time and for many years.

I think the analysis makes sense. I tend to agree with the Author's view.

Kossan @6.10, today's closing price, its Market Cap is 15.603B, TM @4.7, todya's closing price, its Market cap is 17.73B. So assuming not much changes in share prices of top 30 KLCI component stocks, Kossan mostly likely outside top 30 list, unless its share price shoot up by 0.50 before KLCI Review. Supermax and TM will mostly likely replacing AMMB (10.14B), GenM (14.42B).

If based on 7.50, market cap for SUpermax is about 20.40B, it will still be bigger than AMMB (10.14B), GenM (14.42B), Genting (16.02B), Sime Darby (16.46B), Hong leong Finance (18.41B), Petronas Daganagn (19.37B). So it should rank about 25 in Market Cap.

Based on this morning's share prices I have checked this morning, market cap of Supermax if at share price 8.86 is 21.38 Biliions (B). It is bigger than the following 10 KLCI Index component stocks in term of Market Cap:
AMMB (10.14B), GenM (14.42B), Genting (16.02B), Sime Darby (16.46B), Hong leong Finance (18.41B), Petronas Daganagn (19.37B), Dialog (20.47), RHB (20.77B), MISC (20.80), Hap Seng (21.09B).
Supermax currently (this morning) ranks about 21.
So if KLCI Review is solely based on Market Cap, Supermax will be in the 30 KLCI Index component list.

The coming KLCI Review is probably in early December as mentioned in the news on last Review in June.
