I went out at 3.30pm, so I miss the good afternoon show. Came back at 4.50pm, aiyah... show ending. so surprise to see the share prices for Dnex & son shot up so much. Good to see son has taken back the lead this afternoon. Didn't expect Dnex & son rebounded so strongly this afternoon, only expect a strong rebounce next week, so I also miss the chance to collect cheap today. Anyway I am still very happy. Many cheers to all those who belief and have confident in Dnex.

Before release of QR, trading ususally tends to be cautious. So I don't expect any strong rebounce. A stronger rebounce will come after release of QR. Just be patient. Cheers.

No need to be overly worry about QR1. Even Q1R not so good, Dnex share price will still move uptrend after 24 May. Q1R won't be very bad, it will be at least better than Q1R of last year. There will still be a lot of buying interests in Dnex, knowing subsequent results will be much better based on MD's prediction and confidence. Q1R may not be as good as we expect, it will at least be better than Q1R last year, and I am confident subsequent quarter results will be much better than Q1R based on quarter results of past 3 years. Looking at the past QR records over the last 3 financial years, 2014,2015 and 2015, you will notice first quarter results (Q1R) is always worse than the results of other 3 quarters (Q2R, Q3R & Q4R), not sure why, probably due to billing cycles of some IT projects. This year mostly likely will still be the same. So the coming Q1R may be bad compare with last quarter results (Q4R'16 with net profit RM 30.619 mil). But what is important is Q1R' 17 better than Q1R' 16. No need to feel too disappointed and panic sell if Q1R' 17 delivers net profit of only RM 10-15 mil (bad compare with Q4R' 16), but it is still much better than Q1R' 16. Then you can expect much better results from subsequent quarters. Please refer to financial records of past 3 years to convince yourself. Cheers.

If yes, then you are are not sincere and your view is very biased. Didn't you know how Iwcity being manipulated yesterday, opening price 2.25, lowest 1.70, highest 2.45, closing 1.98. In the past few weeks, Iwcity also limit up and limit down a couple of times, these are not manipulations?? Manipulation in Dnex share if there is any is nothing compare with Iwcity or even Malton. Probably I can understand why you tend to be biased against Dnex because you have made a bad/wrong decision on Dnex once based on your 25 years of experience. I remember when Dnex share price was around 0.33 in late Feberuary or early Mar, you exited completed from Dnex after observing some minor manipulation of share prices. Around that time, some other members like Mando, Mandee also exited. But after a week of so, Dnex share price shot up to above 0.40... then all the way to above 0.60 recently.

@datasonic... There are so many sifu here, you ask the wrong person, I am not a sifu. For me I'll hold at least until end of August after release of Q2R. I'll still hold even if Q1R not as good as what I expect. Dnex is a company with very good growth potential with well diversified business and a strong management team. I am paticularly impressed with the MD, Zinal Abidin. He is dynamic, ambitious and far-sighted. I don't belief big sharks are exiting Dnex. For a good company like Dnex, big sharks will always be there, they'll push up the price to sell and press down the price to collect at times. Anyway, you have to make your own decision, is your money. Cheers.

@dxbman, what you have said is quite right. I have checked the past trading records 2-3 days before Q4R'16 released on 20 Feb (Mon).
Last QR delivered fantastic, good results with neth profit of more than RM 30 mil. On the release date, 20 Feb Dnex share price up 4 cents from 0.335 to 0.375. One day b4 (17 Feb), share price up 3 sen from 0.305 to 0.335. Two days b4 (16 Feb), share price up 2 sen from 0.285 to 0.305. One day after (21 Feb) share price also up 1 sen to 0.385.
Can anyone confirm the the actual QR release date. I remember MD said in the AGM, QR will be released on 24 May, but John Lu said tomorrow. When I ask him where he get the source, no reply from him.

The sharp drop today is not due to listing of small amount of additional ESOS shares on 12 May (last Friday). Past trading records clearly show listing of ESOS shares has not much impact on share price. The past trading records are as follows:

I doubt there is any bad news on Dnex. It looks more like share price has gone up too fast for Dnex over the last 3 weeks and some big sharks take the opportunity to press down the price to collect cheap. Even if coming QR is not as good as what we expect also nothing to panic, it may just be due to billing cycle, other quarter results will be better. I still have faith in the MD, the whole year's profit will at least be 20-30% better than last year, 2006 (minus one-off gain). Bear in mind oil price also going up uptrend, so no reason for Dnex's 2007 profits to be bad. Tomorrow likely to see a rebounce. Just be patience for those who can hold. Cheers.

@W6999... Agree with your analysis. QR might not as good as we expect, but may not be as bad as what you have estimated, best QR with RM 18 mil net profit. I expect QR with better net profit of at least RM 20-25 mil. Remember the last QR (Q4R'16) with net profit of RM 30.619 also delivered without the one-off gain. The MD is a very humble person and conservative in his profit prediction. Dnex may deliver better results this year than what MD has predicted. The heavy selling this morning is really scary and unexpected. Hopefully this afternoon share price can recover further and this evening no bad news release. Be patient and hold until QR release on next Wednesday before making decision to sell or keep for longer term. Cheers.

Bad closing today, vol unexpectedly low, only about 22.5 mil, half of yesterday's vol. Dnex really needs a catalyst to surge forward. It no good news like new contract award, Dnex may just trade sideway before QR release on 24 May. 1.77 mil is very small amount compare with today's traded vol 45 mil and can be easily absored if the employees dispose off the acquired ESOS shares. If I remember correctly. when ESOS shares listed in the past, share price not affected at all. In fact most time share price went up. Can easily check the past trading records to confirm. Cheers.
