The tradings these few days look like big sharks still manipulating/blocking Dnex & son share prices to collect. May need a catalyst or some good news before sharks remove the blockage and start pushing up share prices. Be patience, the next wave will come. Cheers.

I belief over the past few weeks some big sharks/operators are controlling/manipulating share prices of Dnex & son to collect mom at around 0.40 and son at around 0.20. It looks like they are not ready to push today. They'll probably wait for some good news/catalyst before they push. Hopefully before next QR due end of next month, there are some good news like new contract award coming out. Otherwise, we really need to be very....very patience to slowly..slowly wait until the next QR release. Haha... by that time, some of the members/supporters who have loss confidence/patience would have disposed off their shares. Be patience. Cheers.

mando disposed off all dnex shares 1-2 weeks back, now mandee also sell all. just curious whether they are related. You really need a have a lot of patience to invest in this counter. Good luck to all.

More and more new sellers for son at 0.205 coming up after old sellers being cleared. No chance of going up. I hope not big sharks disposing, just some big share holders who have acquired the son foc for right issued subscribed selling.

In my opinion, Dnex is a good stock with good management, good fundamental and growth potential. This is a stock good for medium to long term investment but not for contra or short term. For me, I will hold at least for 2-3 months until next QR release in May and also next AGM in June before I decide whether to keep for longer term. I am not a sifu, so do your own study and research on this counter before you buy, at your own risk.

What you said is true. Looks like the company needs to have some good news or a catalyst, then only share price can be pushed up.

Please take note the profit of 112m from O&G business in 2016 includes one-time gain/return of 89.5m from investment in Anasuria cluster (not sure why there is such a return), which is not an operational profit as reflected in the Q2R 2016 (PBT>Revenue). You won't see this in 2017. MD only aim for about 50% contribution from O&G business by 2017.

Tai KT, how you get the figures energy contributed 91% and ICT only 9% of 2016 profit, and how you come up with 62% and 28% for 2017? I think your figures are misleading. The MD only expect about 50%/50% from both O&G business and ICT by 2017. Before diversified into O&G business in 2015/2016, ICT contributed about 97% of profit in 2015.

Comparing the top 30 Shareholding list updated on 2 Mar 2017 with the list updated on 4 Jan 2017, none of the top 5 shareholders have disposed off any shares in Dnex. Great Eastern Life has disposed off more than 13 mil shares. CITIBANK NEW YORK has increased about 9 mil shares. No change in number of shares held by EPF. Cheers.

mikee, there is an error in the last sentence of the report you have posted. The ICT segment contributed 97 per cent of the group revenue in its financial year 2015 (not 2017). Either you typed wrongly or the Report reported wrongly. Cheers.

Haha..tlxian, if what you think is correct, then you might as well put you money in FD, as least can get 3 % in one year, why wasting you time investing in this stock. No one, including the MD can predict correctly how much is the upside and how much the downside, everyone can make his/her own prediction. I have confidence in the management, good fundamental and growth potential of Dnex, my forecast downside could be 10-20% if Market bad, upside could be 30-50% in 6-12 months if Market good and management can deliver what they aim for. My forecast can be wrong. So do your own study/research and make your forecast before you invest, at your own risk.

If you have no confidence in Dnex, don't buy lol... Or if you like Dnex so much and not welling to buy at current price, then slowly..slowly wait lol, wait for the price to come down to your target level, then only buy lol.... No need to waste time arguing.

I am going to top up mom if it drops further to 0.39 and below next week. With the crude oil price stabilising, I belief Dnex & son will perform better this month (April). Q1 result coming out next month (May), expect it to be good, if not fantastic like last QR, so next month Dnex & son also likely to perform well. Then, GE14 likely to be held this year probably in Aug/Sep after Hari Raya. Expect market to be good with Government support 1-2 months before GE. So Dnex & son will also perform well in Jun & July. Haha... am I too optimistic?

I don't think big sharks can press down Dnex price to 0.35 this time, 0.38 possible unless our Bursa market turns very bad and index drops back below 700. Remember local funds via ValueCap is going to support the market with RM 3 bil starting this month (April), buying in good small & medium stocks. Being a former GLC and is a counter weil diversified with very good fundamental and growth potential, Dnex likely to be in their shopping list. The recently launch EFTZ, its full details will be announced this month also likely to benefit Dnex directly or indirectly as Dnex is currently the sole operator of NSW for Trade Facilitation. So my view is, Dnex has a much bigger potential of going up than coming down. The choice is yours whether to buy, keep, sell or slowly slowly wait for share price to come down. Good luck to all. Crude oil price surged strongly again yesterday. Brent crude oil closing at USD 53.53 and WTI crude oil closing at 50.85 up about 1 %. Good for O&G counters.

Son even though there is panic/heavy selling early this afternoon, surprisingly can still close flat. Mother looks like someone is pressing down closing price to collect at 0.395. Not many sellers disposing at 0.395 last 10 min before closing. Not a bad closing today. Next trading day will be better (明天会更好). Just be patience and optimistic. Dnex will follow Hibiscus, moving uptrend next week. Cheers.

Just to correct my posting put up this morning on total number of ESOS shares recently issued by Dnex to employees.
The total number of ESOS shares issued, i.e. 6,210,100 shares actually included 1,500,000 shares issued to Director Khoo Kok Seng, 1,500,000 shares issued to Director Abdul manaf bin Shariff and 800,000 shares issued to Principal Officer Lim Kek Siang, These newly issued ESOS shares has been listed on 28 Mar (Tuesday) for 3 trading days. So those employees allocated ESOS shares who wanted to sell and take profit would probably have sold by Today. I don't foresee much selling pressure from disposing of ESOS shares from tomorrow onward. Cheers.

Dnex, formerly called Time Engineering is a GLC, controlled by government-linked funds, namely, Khazanah Nasional Bhd and protected by the Government. Khazanah had disposed of Dnex stake in 2013, I think to Censof (probably Dnex MD also acquired some of the shares). The company then renamed to Dnex, diversified and restructured under the present management helmed by MD. In view of improved fundamental and growth potential of Dnex, I belief Khazanah (a member of ValueCap) likely to reinvest in Dnex. Please correct me if I am wrong. Cheers.

Total number of ESOS shares newly issued so far is about 10 millions. More may be issued soon as some of the Directors I think have not taken up the ESOS shares allocated to them yet. But I belief most of the directors will keep their acquired shares for long term until they have to acquire with loans. I guess trading for Dnex today is affected partly by issuance of ESOS shares. Big sharks also smart, they don't want to push up Dnex share price for ESOS share holders to sell high. Probably tomorrow will be the same. Be patience, just wait for next week lol.

SOme of those staff acquiring ESOS shares with loans might be disposing their acquired ESOS shares this morning to pay back their loans. Nothing to worry, number of ESOS shares issued not big, can be absorbed easily and share price will go up soon. Be patience and optimistic. Don't get influenced by the clowns.

Approved Permit (AP) applications (ePermit) for the importation of vehicles and heavy machineries to be implemented by MITI and also the ePermit Online Payment (eOP)to be introduced by SIRIM will both start this weekend (1st Apr). Both I think will benefit Dnet.
