Once the power plant achieved full COD, the capacity payment is mandatory even if the power plant is kept idle for whatever reasons so long as it isn't operator's fault. Mong Duong II was shut down by government for 5 months yet Mong Duong II was still profitable because of the capacity payment.

I m unsure about mudajaya's problem. I heard it has to do with change of provincial government. I do not wish to waste time analyzing its problems.

However, if your concern is on the capability of grid network to handle additional 1200MW of electricity from Hai duong power plant as highlighted by Mr Koon, I m totally comfortable in that respect.

If mudajaya is in vietnam, I would be very concerned. Mong Duong II and Vinh Tan 1 are successful BOT coal power plants in vietnam. Perhaps more relevant ??

OTB is very good with timing, not me. I always buy at the earliest opportunity at valuation I found attractive because I can wait. I don't believe in anyone except my own research. Information provided by other sifus are always independently authenticated.

I never studied behavioral finance so I could not perform "valuation judgement" based on self-interest or motivation of individuals. I promoted Jaks since RM0.50 and it is now RM1.27 and that said much about valuation Judgment by behavioral finance.

It is not easy to evaluate jaks hai duong power plant mathematically given the limited information available, but that should not be the reason why one should turn to "If so good, why KYY sold?" kind of thesis.

If you are uncomfortable investing in Jaks, "wait and see" is a viable alternative but you must stay positive minded. Otherwise, you will forever be waiting. As proven in 2019 when the share price moved from 0.40 to 1.43, the negative minded are still on the sideline. What will happen in 2020 when the power plant starts operation ? Keep waiting ......

You cannot sell units that has been sold and avoid LAD

Jaks is clearly not meant for investors who;

1. are conservative and not willing to lose money
2. are more concerned about past performance
3. are more focus on negative developments
4. totally disregard the potential of the power plant
5. always think the worse will happen
6. are more concerned with why Mr Koon sold/not buying
7. think all promoters are conman

Then, the best strategy for them is "wait and see". However, while you can wait, the price may not wait for you. You can't have the benefit of both.

Apparently, many sifus do not agree with Mr koon.

The Vietnam IPP will only achieve unit 1 COD in mid 2020, you have to wait till end 2020 to see the results of its power business.

It is absolutely correct to say that Jaks' future prospect lies ENTIRELY on its vietnam power plant. Many are still not willing to take a look at the prospect of the power plant simply because of its domestic businesses.
