I wonder why KYY likes to talk so much about US domestic problems in a forum where everyone is interested in making money. On this, I am very interested in knowing more about the forced covid lockdowns and the property crisis in China and its standoff with Taiwan would affect the local and US markets...If possible I hope his research will enlighten us on how long these problems are likely to continue

I feel KYY should be fair when downplaying the USA.. Dont forget that PRC is about 4.2 times the size of the US in terms of population...so it does have some advantages when calculating the gdp and market size.....What should really matters is the per capita income ..for which the US ranks 8 while the PRC ranks 64. It is great that PRC is progressing well..but i feel it has nothing geat to gloat about.. It has played the role of a low cost producer of american, japanese and korean products ..but the companies from these countries are moving out...While i understand KYY's sentiments, I see not see why it has to be done at the expense of the US..which we all know is way ahead on many issues that matters to ordinary citizens..Going ahead of oneself..could cause one to fall flat on the face..like what happened on all the hype on vaccines

The earnings for Q2 period , Mar to Jun has not be announced yet. It should be very good and hopefully dividend would come with it given Inno's 80% div policy. But since Jun cpo price has been going down..but still relatively high.
Hopefully, the price would stay stabilise at least at around current levels..

Based on 2021 data USA is list 7 and China is 77 interms of per capita income. In terms of population, China is 4.2 times the size of the US.. so even if their GDP even up,the US will still be far ahead in terms of prosperity of its people... If we look around us, literally everything we consume, treat ourselves, enjoy, transact with etc comes from the USA.. Infact we now live in a civilization created by them..And their biggest invention is the USD which increases in value as troubles in the world increases. The reason is simple people trust the Americans more that anyone else

Not overly pessistic.. Because of high CPO prices, Q1 results are already in the bag (not announced yet) and we are 2/3 into Q2 period ..with prices still high.. A report in the Edge indicates, that the price will drop over the rest of the year but it will be gradual..Having a 80% payout ratio, the dividends to come should be reasonable.. These are just my views

Fake new is a disease because there is no censorship...and less manipulation of official data.. It may surprise you, that in the other case, even the population data of that country is suspect..because apparently netizens found out that the birth rate does not match with the population figures..Ex.if there was 10 million births 20 years ago, there must be about 20 million 20 years old now...but according to the people who did the research, the reported figures differ by a wide margin....

I suspect there is some misunderstanding among some investors about the recent bonus issue... It was 1 bonus share for 2 (two) existing shares and 1 free warrant for 5 shares..So the dilution is less than if it was 1:!. .... Very recently, I saw a brokerage report that said that the bonus was 2 for 1..which was not the case..eventhough the brokerage set a very high target price...For your info guys . ..of what I saw

Looking at the FR for period ending 30 Sept, the net income from all three regions - southern, central and northern regions looks okay to me. The income is spread over 7 properties...so the risk of tenants leaving is less..unless the country is affected by another covid upsurge or other financial calamity..Also,the growth forcast for the country, especially for the consumer sector, is quite encouraging

I feel KYY losses his sleep thinking about the US all the time. His favourite country China is 4.3 times the size of the US ..in terms of population..if we are to believe the figures..But in terms of economic and social indicators, the latter is far, far ahead....Also, the former is a blackbox..so whatever that comes out of it ...through just one source...have to be taken with a pinch of salt..Always wondered if it is so popular, why has it to be secretive and restrictive and scared..? i feel chance and more humane approach is peaceful reunification like what happened between East and West Germany..We need to note that there was a pro China party in Taiwan...but it got deciminated....and the country now is almost completely under the influence of a democracy oriented party.. Reasons are simple - what is happening in HK and Xinjiang scared the shit out of the Taiwanese..Another point: if the people of Taiwan actually want to unite with PRC, you know it, the US or any other power will not be able to stop it....By the way do you know why most people in China do not have a brother/sister or uncle/aunty...?..Count our blessings

An american strategist once said that the US should get a cut for whatever transaction is made in any part of the world. If you really look into your life today, you will realise it is true ...from everyday products, fast foods, soft drinks, medicine , clothes, entertainment, financial transactions and social media ...everything is from the USA..why? some time a ago an adversarial country produced a 10 minute propaganda video on how it will attack a US military base..and you know what ? ..in that short 10 minute videa, it used video clips from 3 different US movies...The point I am saying is the US is much, much stronger than many people think..It created the civilization we live in ...By the way, the US unemployement rate in August 2021 is only 5.2% ..as a after thought, the colgate that we use every morning is a US brand, check out on the rest of the products we use and enjoy ...and you would be in for a shock

We need to be careful about the definition when comparing the "civil service" in different countries. For instance, in the UK if I am not mistaken, the army, the police, the national health service are not included as part of the civil service. So it is necessary to be extra carefull when making claims not based on verifiable facts...It seem to be very prevalent among certain bloggers on this site..

Ensuring freedom to express grievances and press freedom allows for better insight into what is happening in a country. Recently the country announce that it had moved ...(forgot the figure) people out of "absolute poverty" . Following that a reporter from Apple Daily who happened to be in one of the villages that "moved out of absolute poverty" reported that the people there did not have piped water and they had to walk 2-3 miles to get it. What soon followed that is like they say is history...the owner of the paper together with many of its reporters were put behind bars..and the paper was forced to close down...The point here is, we should not take reports from official media, especially from autoritarian regimes be the truth..we need to treat them with a generous pinch of salt..

KYY should show more sympathy to the poorer countries -- countries that have been devasted by massive floods, exodus of foreign investors, power shortages and blackouts, bankrupcies that put miilions to lose their homes, investments and jobs..and that risk the economies of other countries...This country is a "black box" where whatever happens nobody knows..It is not difficult to speculate the level of "extreme poverty" in this country that is linked to all the problems listed and more...I look forward to a good analysis of what is going on there...and KYY's advice on what we investors should do in the days ahead...

I feel things will not go back prepandemic levels..reasons: covid may continue as a endemic, with threat of covid always present use of glove and PPE will continue, supermx has changed in terms of manufacturing capasity and reach as well as as its financial strength in terms of net assets per share, price to net assets, cash flow etc.

Supermx has many advantages..huge size that gives economiies of scale, its own distribution channels, its using own brand besides that of others, factories in places like the US and Canada. Lastly, glove use is likely to continue eventhough ASP may drop from unreasonably high levels reached recently..due to the pandemic..
