Good piece of news (above announced in Bursa today) - besides the approval from the Government to extend the CP date to 23NOV21, Dpharma has submitted the application for registration of the Vaccine to the DCA and that the Vaccine has successfully completed the pre-screening stage by the NPRA. It is currently undergoing the product registration process of the NPRA. So it is now left only the registration process which should not take long. Once it is finalized and the supply of the Sputnik Vaccine starts, the share price can be expected to shoot up (like what happened to Pharmaniaga before). Good luck everyone.

I have been waiting to capture this for quite a while after he announced earlier of his intention to deal in Bornoil stock (see my earlier post). Finally it comes today - that Datuk Ambrose Lee bought 1 mil shares in Bornoil today. This is a very strong message or indication of what is going to happen to Bornoil share price. I leave it to you to make your own judgment.

Lembaga Tabung Haji considering taking TH Plantation private to take advantage of the good CPO price. Will Boustead Holdings or LTAT consider taking Boustead Plantation private for the same reason?

It could possibly be Mcquarie that spoilt the show. They might have been waiting for the right moment to throw kaw kaw when big fishes came in to eat all the Q at 3.5sen. They bought at PP at 2.5 sen and throwing at 3.5 sen gave them very good profit. That also partly explains why after acquiring so much shares via PP but never made any announcement of major shareholder of 5% or more.

There are big boys here - came in and sapu all the sell Q of 3.5sen within seconds and then threw back - just to create volume of shares traded. Also at 4.52pm, one single lot transaction was seen followed immediately with three tranches of purchases of 500k shares. Something is brewing behind the scene. Would be interesting to watch the play tomorrows and the days to come.

The sell Q is getting smaller and smaller. Good sign.

As at the date of this report, a total of 915,000,000 Bornoil Shares had been issued pursuant
to the Proposed Subscription at an issue price ranging from RM0.0250 to RM0.0400 per
Bornoil Share. As at to-date, a total of fifty-five (55) tranches had been completed, and the
Company has raised total proceeds of RM29.03 million from the Proposed Subscription. The
Proposed Subscription is still ongoing.

Hi guys, I just like to share my observation on the PP subscription by Macquarie. Of the 1.205bil or 20% of Bornoil capital, Macquarie has already subscribed 915mil or about 75% of the total amount and this roughly represents about 15 % of Bornoil capital. The fact that there has been no announcement of major shareholder acquisition of 5 % or more may indicate that Macquarie had probably sold most of the PP they subscribed. Not sure whether this is a good sign or bad sign. However in the event of share price uptrend in the coming future (potentially arising from the good latest QR), there may not be substantial selling pressure from Macquarie if they are holding only small amount of shares. Just my 2 sen view.

I couldn't agree with MZM2511 more. Please everyone of us who are shareholders and have vested interest in the company, spend a bit of time and read through the latest QR in details. I did my part already the moment the results were released in Bursa. Lets try to understand the actual financial position of the company and the future prospects that are expected to drive the share price up. We all wish the price to rebound strongly and goes up after so many years of patience. In layman terms, I think the company is now much more stronger financially - having turned around and achieved good profit, having a number of established businesses, net cash position (i.e. total cash - borrowings = positive cash or no net borrowings or zero geared). The other positive factors are the willingness of a bank to granted them RM50m credit facilities recently and the involvement of Macquarie in the PP exercise.

Wow..wow...wow.. very good QR just released. Big jump in profit of RM35.5mil (compared with a loss in the previous quarter). Fantastic turnaround plus the net cash position. Limit up on Wednesday !!

Problem with this counter is no dividend declared (most other good performing companies declared some sort of dividend which then attracted investors to buy for dividend and hence price surge). With no dividend who want this ctr and soon the share price will surely drop.

Foker My opinion is better switch rubberex to big 4 glove like Kossan, Supermax, Topglove and Harta. Post pandemic, Rubberex cannot make a profit. Already proven by its drastic drop in net profit.

I tend to agree with you, Foker. Eventough latest QR reported profit, the boss is so stingy in not giving any dividend. No pint holding their shares - better to sell and buy Topglove which gives very very good dividend.

I noticed there have been some parties taking the sellers' prices (i.e. the higher price) - maybe these people knows the QR.

killshorties Trust me.. i have seen this before, the price up few days before qr, then company announce good qr, then many IB give TP high, then suddenly the price when down and sideways.. i will explain how all these IB make profit from bilis.... like this.. 1st, few days or weeks before qr (which they already know good qr) they bought like crazy, to push the price.. for us bilis, we still dont know and still waiting for qr first.. 2nd, on the day of the qr, these black heart IB will lure you all with so many high TP, then all bilis bought it believing the high TP. 3rd, on the same day, actually at the back, they already started to do RSS, more bilis will bought high and these IB will start selling slowly but painfully. BTW, they are not selling their own share, they RSS EPF and others shares... giving a good commission to EPF, they will push the price down and sideways for the next 3 month until next qr.. so guys, be prepare to sell or you will need to hold for another 2 to 3 months, otherwise, sell now, and buy back just 1 month before the next qr.. good luck guys.

Thanks Killshorties for the advice. Very insightful for newbies and perhaps that explains why some companies announced very good results but prices move in the opposite direction after profit announcement.

Couldn't agree with you more, Marcus80. Sometimes some people may have bad ulterior motive against a company, so just ignore them (these are called noises).

Latest QR should be released by Monday and hope it is not too bad although I dont expect it to be good. Latest by Tuesday (which is the last day) have to come out. Let me guess, if they waited until the last day to release, usually results not good. So expect volume to be low whilst waiting for QR.

Small loss of 7.3mil for the quarter (comparatively lower y-oy) and overall profit for 1H2021 after 6 quarters of losses. Almost all subsidiaries performed well.

It looks like the world population is going to need vaccine forever. Some countries like Israel is going for 3rd dose or booster shot amidst spread of Delta variant and it is believed that the immunity or protection from earlier doses taken about 5 months ago is tapering.

Believe the share price has hit the bottom. The future can only be brighter.

QR still not announced - guess it is not going to be good. If good they will not hold back announcing. On the contrary I think no point focusing on past performance but rather try to look forward and perhaps a bit longer term on the future growth and potential of their various businesses.

He he ..I think I was quite right again - good QR with good dividend of 22 sen announced today. This is a solid stock to buy and keep for long term and collect good dividends. Better than keeping money in FD. Nothing much to worry and can sleep well too.

Invest in Bursa wont go wrong....when market activities up, Bursa collects more income and we get more dividend

At 5.5 sen I rather buy Velesto warrant (also at 5.5 sen - 6 sen). When Velesto shoot up to 20 sen or more (now 14.5 sen), warrant should easily double its price. I doubt Alam can perform like that.

The excellent results of Boustead plantation results good for Boustead Holdings.
