Consider good price for AACE. With PE 17.71, 20% higher (include earn-out) if compare to est valuation price . Not sure how much on earn-out and the condition, but I believe that there is high chance AA will receive it. Another financial metric which i dont really understand. NTA will increase +0.16 per share (equal to RM535mil) but this deal maximum will receive RM429Mil only. Does it mean that the NTA for AACE is -106mil in balance sheet now? Due to high debt?

I also wish Q2 is better than Q1 but I think that it is not likely to happen. Oil price din really drop much between Q2 vs Q1. I wont quote is as "cheaper", just stable to me. Hari Raya impact is it that significant? I personally dont think so la.. Loading factor remain strong every quarter recently. Main factor to see it perform good or not still rely to basis which is airfare fare + ancillary income - expense (mainly are staff cost + maintenance cost + fuel)

Generally Q2 staff cost > Q1 staff cost. Q4 staff cost > Q3 staff cost from historical record. May due to their incentive distribution. Last Q you may find out that staff cost is significantly increase. From long term perspective, it is not a bad move. But this may need to recover profit margin (earning / revenue) at 25% to 30% level in year 2016. 2017 strategy is to maintain airfare price, increase ancillary income, increase duration of usage of airplane, increase no of aircraft. From my observation from last q result, I believe that revenue will increase, but profit margin is very hard to maintain above 25% same as last year. But i believe that bottom line (PAT) will as good as 2016.

If we ignore those one off profit/loss, i still think that Q1 generally will better than Q2. Anyway, still quite positive to Q2 result and we just wait and see..

Actually I have opposite view on this. Today is one of the lowest transaction volume since I monitor Airasia start at year 2016. Even with uncertainty on North Korean event, no much people would like to sell today. I believe that all are waiting for Q2 result and AAC sales. Q2 generally is weakest quarter for Airasia. If Q2 can perform well, this will show clearer picture on Q3 and Q4. I hold about 30% of my portfolio on Airasia. I wont add or sell until Q2 result + AAC news.

To be honest, im not too optimistic about AAC deal now since it is drag too long from original schedule. My best estimate will be 900USD for 100% stake as at now. My previous estimation is about 1.2B USD but seem like not likely to happen. Actually 900USD also not a bad deal, just not the best.

900USD x 4.30 / 3.34B = RM 1.16 per share. if use 80% to distribute as dividend still got around RM0.90 per share. Anything above 900USD will be extra to me. Let's "pray" hard on this.

i still recall a "case study" from supermx2. Lol.. Bought 2.81 and sold at 2.80 within 1 day. Nothing wrong to do that since it is your money. But try to spread fear after his selling without any fact is something dishonorable action. What a shame.

Normally I'm super weak in timing. I q at 3.05, 3.01 and 2.96 last wednesday but only get 3.05. This is 1st time i bought at 3.05 then increase to 3.15 in 2 days trading. Normally will keep dropping for my 1st entry. Not sure is consider good or not. Good thing is because the price is up trend now, not good is because I can not get at 3.01 and 2.96. lol.. Cheers!!

Is it possible like this way? AAC sell to jv in china, but hard to get money out from china. Thus, china allow you to invest as JV in china. At the end no special dividend, money invest into CAA? For TF personal loan part, JV of china loan it to TF with very low interest. Hahahaha... Just wild guess, no basis at all.
