PM Holdings is the safest counter in the MUI stable for political play for the following reason:
1. Recent High is 33 cents and recent low is 12.5 cents
2. No of shares is 1/3 of MUI Holdings.
3. Got a stock broking co (PM Securities ) that would be able to give
a good set of results.

So my opinion is that if the issue of CPRS is successful, than share price will shoot up.

So Basically, there is no such thing as pressing price to get a better conversion ratio. Conversion price is fixed at 66cents. CPRS issued at RM1.00. One CPRS gives you 1.515151 Hibiscus share. As a CPRS Holder, you cannot even choose the time to convert ( Anyway 2 years Only to Maturity ) since there is Mandatory conversion on a pro rata basis for any acquisition. Proceeds not used will be redeem by the co with a certain premium based on a certain ratio.

Why do people buy then? There is a certain amount of interest paid if the CPRS is not converted (Unlikely cos mandatory conversion upon acquisition of assets )

I have said this before, they press down the price to have better conversion ratio of CRPS. Then, it will greatly dillute the existing share. The retailers will always be loser. You can only see the price up after they have finished the conversion of CRPS

Are they converting the CRPS now? No disclosure on new share issued.

Honestly I traded this counter over the past 3 months. Made money about 10 times and lost 3 times. You need to pick up when low and sell when it spikes up a lot. 50 cents seem to be the ultimate low. Even when the market crash during March 2020 Panic selling, it only went to a low of 37.5 cents. Fundamentals are different now. Balance sheet had been cleared with that sale to Telecoms. Business directions is clear now. Recent spate of key appointments indicate serious intention to built up this cloud business. Look at the record of these new recruitment. They are not the normal employees but people who start some business. Think they have been lured by handsome ESOS scheme.
So share price should move up gradually. Very hard to play contra for this counter. Anyway with current low mkt volume its hard to play contra.
