Since your explanations applies for J@K$, then it would apply for Malakoff's subsidiary Teknik Janakuasa Sdb Bhd power plant in Vietnam, 1,200 MW coal-fired power plant at Duyen Hai
It is also similar in size and similar timeline.

Malakoff currently earns net profit around RM230mil in last 4 quarters.

How J@K$ can earn that much since it has only 1 power plant(1,200MW) as compared to Malakoff's 10 power plant(Total=7000MW) & 5 water desalination plant????

More like a bailout using money from PAVREIT to cover the tight cashflow of Malton.
Anyway, pouring billions out will only cause less dividend for current shareholder of PAVREIT.

This glove counter has high PE, no doubt.
But it also has a higher profit margin than the rest of its rival and the company is dealing with in demand nitrile glove.
Its the only glove company that innovates new glove products with new technology.
So the high price and valuation.

Assume new share issue of 1 bil shares @ 12 cent per share gives RM120 mil.

Balance RM47mil paid by cash.

Total share issued will be close to 2.9 bil shares.

Profit guarantee of RM14.8 mil will give EPS of 0.005.
A PE of 10 will give it fair value of 5 cent only.


Someone mentioned RM25 mil profit.
Even with that profit with PE 10 will give you only 8 cent.


Maybe some may argue PE 10 is too low.
Let's give PE 20.

At 14.8 mil and 25 mil profit will give you 10 cent and 17 cent.
Not much upside if you think about it.

But from market cheaper than the rights share.

By the way, JAKS is replacing some water pipes in Bandar Kinrara.
The road towards BK1 is partly blocked since early 2018.
Until today never seen any workers or machineries moving or doing anything.
The road blocked cause traffic jams especially during peak hours.

Our issue for a simple water pipe change is small as compared to the property development in Section13 PJ.

I don't think the company is running anything at this moment.
Probably all operations had ceased since the legal action started.

Shahril: I cannot answer that question. I don’t know, maybe there is a lack of understanding and appreciation of the company and the industry. We have been in a difficult situation for three years, so changing three years of conditioning is going to take some time. And to change it, we must show results.

I think once we start showing results in the next couple of years, only then will the mindset change.
