Most probably buyback. Just started for Genting. GenM buyback happened a few weeks back.
2019-04-25 11:51 | Report Abuse
Most probably company and directors buyback. And most likely gonna go down again after the buyback stops like GenM.

Possible, if macro factors and conditions remain stable. Hopefully Trump and China won't come out with bad news, which will then shake the market again.

Ignore the tin business. Look at its dairy business instead. Read the annual report. Look at the countries it's exporting to. Look at the future growth.

Might be insiders buying back I guess. Suddenly spike up.

When it's goreng time, you'll be surprised how the volume starts to pile up. Out of a sudden. Seen it before for many stocks.
Hopefully we gonna see more action coming for in the coming days.

I'm actually still considering what to do beyond that. I mean after 1.83. I originally bought Johotin to keep it for 2-3 years. Still huge potential moving forward. But if people start goreng, really hard to decide since it most likely won't drop back so low.

Markets are volatile across all developing nations. Kejap up, kejap down, but Malaysia has been among the worst hit. External factors.
Internally, the government's PR and propaganda arm have been really weak or non-existence compared to Najib's days using Paul Stadlen and his firm.
Western media kept whacking left and right but government always come out with such weak responses time and time again. Mostly on social media by Tony Pua, Ong Kian Ming, or the likes.
If the government information machinery is so weak, Western media for sure will keep whacking. And foreign investors and institutions panic kept selling. And despite all those selling since GE14, who knows who have been buying.
If a company has strong fundamentals, and is cash rich, don't panic. Have faith. If it gets cheaper, of course buy. I do hope it gets cheaper so that can top up. Easy as that.

Don't confuse Puffet's comment with mine. And you still haven't answered me for the three times you went missing previously.

Anyway, if KLSE goes well today, maybe will breach 2.6. Foreign selling is a real pain for KLSE due to scare tactics by foreign media e.g. Bloomberg.

8888_ aka Air_Asia, you haven't answered me. Appear again after everything goes quiet for awhile using another account?

Yeah buy and keep. Don't trade for short term gains. Will be great in a year or two if everything goes according to plan.

Buyback started for Genting mother.

Good thing is that buyback has finally started for Genting mother.

You already got burnt badly twice until you dare not reply (scroll up for those who don't believe). You kept asking for more and kept showing your stewpeedeetie and dumbfkery here.
I really cannot brain such people.

I've mentioned countless of times I have held AA for about three-four years, or more. Sold off 2/3 when Q4 result was bad, with profit since I bought lower. Bought back some when price was 2.4++
Waiting for 2.3++ to add even more.
I've said this many times. This clone guy must be a retard. Don't even know how to read simple words and sentences. Point blank.

How many times must I say I have Airasia? Do you even know how to read seriously?
Question from ni7 was what OTHER counters I'm holding and watching. READ OTHER. THOSE ARE WHAT I HAVE ALONG WITH AIRASIA. WHAT A DUMBF.

I like buying cheap, when a stock has been battered down badly. I go for value and long position. I don't mind waiting anyway since I'm not a trader.
And I always keep some spare cash to top up when a good stock goes even cheaper.

As mentioned before, AAX, Genting, GenM, RHB, Johotin and a few other smaller holdings. Some come and go, for strategic reasons but the ones stated are the ones I hold.
Watching Ajinomoto, Aeon Credit, Sunway, SunCon, Vitrox, QL, BIMB, CIMB, MyNews, TM and UMCCA.
I don't like O&G and steel, which explains why I'm not into goreng.

Air_Asia and the clones of the same person, again shows that he doesn't know how to read.

The review to downgrade will only happen in September. If you want to chicken out, be my guest. If so, why are you still here then? Just sell and go elsewhere.
Lots of good goreng opportunities in O&G, construction and steel. And maybe tech. Go ahead. Lots of money to be made.

Downgrade is in September. Don't act pandai please.

For a price breakout to happen, it needs a major catalyst. I haven't seen any so far. Q1 might be it, but chances are, it might be the other way round.
Investors should not look at AA based on its airlines business alone. And the airlines stats.
Look at the digital and logistics businesses as the growth driver. The new catalysts. If Q1 shows superb growth for these non-core, the future will be bright. Otherwise, it might take longer.
So, dare yourself to go long. Or just look elsewhere for the moment if you are looking to goreng.
2019-04-22 13:52 | Report Abuse
AA is worth buying if it gets cheaper, if you are able to withstand the volatility and price weakness.
Just look beyond Q1, which I believe could go either way. Go long, be an investor instead of trader and you will be rewarded.
As usual, don't overstretch by going all in based on rumours or chase it when sudden rebound happens. Spare some cash so that you top up when it gets cheap.

CORRECTION:
Those who cannot tahan ups and downs, go for consumer staples, the ones that sell products that people cannot live without. Chicken and eggs stocks are also superb, but valuations are sky high now.
There are cheap major banks now too other than the pricey PBB, and HLG, if you know where to look. But dangers of windfall tax and rate cut by BNM are looming.
Tech ones, most of the strong local ones (sensors and chip makers) are affected by Apple's and global smartphone demand slowdown.
Plantation doesn't look good too at the moment but if you to go long, the sector might be a good pick. Lots of strong ones in the market if you dare to bet on rebound by end of the year or next, subject to positive news from Europe's ban on Malaysian palm oil.
Gaming might be interesting, especially with the gaming tax coming into effect. Next Q results might be an atomic bomb for gaming counters. Good bet if you dare to buy cheap and park long too.
Not much options besides O&G and construction for short term traders that want to goreng. But if you go long, plenty of choices to pick, if you know where to look.

Maybe that's why you created so many clones here. But dumb enough to make them all sound the same.

Wahhhh superman spotted, Comment here can block AA from dropping to 2.3? A tiny lone investor (who got stuck coz bought high) can influence the market?

I got mine on the same day as stated as payable, which was April 10. My other counters' dividends are all on time too.

Check with your remisier. Should be in by now if it's e-dividend. If it's by physical postage, might take longer.

Hahahaha newbies lol. What to do.
Anyway good day to you and happy investing. Next week might be a good week for KLSE. Might lah. Friday ended pretty well for many counters that were struggling for these couple of months.

Even if you buy expensive, you can always top up and average down. Unless, you went all in when it's high and got stuck, which I believe is the case right now.
And out of anger, you are lashing out at other people who are doing well. I do sincerely pity people with such behaviour.
2019-04-19 17:53 | Report Abuse
My average here is already pretty cheap. Of course I hope it gets cheaper so that I can top up. If it goes up, then also great because I earn more, in addition to the freebies in dividends.
So, be smart. Don't buy expensive then kao peh kao bu. Snipe when it's cheap. One of the most basic things in value investing.
2019-04-19 17:50 | Report Abuse
Create new account to attack other counters? Wow. Wow. Not bad huh. I'm here because, of course I'm holding AirAsia. And it's not my sole holdings. I hold Johotin, Genting, GenM, RHB and others.
Unlike some newbies that only put all eggs in one counter and then kao peh kao bu when lose money with AA. When people give facts, you say people purposely talk bad, part of syndicate etc. It's so laughable that you call yourself an investor.

Lobbying activities are not cheap. Look at Mashpee. The tribe spent almost all of the money on lobbying and yilek. Nothing so far. Hopefully, the court case will be overturn since there are now some development on the front.
Tribe money habis guna liao, so most likely Genting might need to spend more even if it's positive from the court case.

He's brilliant btw. Bought Equanimity and did PH and Dr. M a huge favour. Since Dr. M is very close and warm to Japan, so you know I know lah. Using Dr. M to help lobby indirectly. That might be why he's confident.
