looks like pnb sell down is over, with wistron as strong backup. fpi will keep growing bigger. the only concern will be its margin. i hope they get a fair margin from wistron orders, but definitely not fat like roland.

This price is quite attractive to be honest. The only concern is the sustainability of margin from new contracts. They are transitioning themselves from low margin-high volume business to higher margin one.

Rf business prospect is still very bright. Broadcom low-mid band is still the best, quantity and pricing wise qorvo filter is not even close to broadcom yet. Inari will not affected at least for now..

A company that aim triple growth of revenue meanwhile remaining its margin of 40% above, I could foresee them spending what they earn on expanding capacity from what their r&d can bear more products out. They also will be decent dividend payment for early shareholders. Just don’t see why one would reap the fruits especially it just reached at an very exciting stage.

haha sslee, this is like asking an egg, a farm and a cow and you ask what should we price them. Always remember the beauty of investing stock/business is the power of creating value within it. from the quantitative figures you have provide, you are clearly missing out how their business can create owner earnings in indefinitely years ahead.......

Has MYEG business deteriorate? no, not yet but it might. Even though MYEG revenue 80% derive from commercial services instead of government concession, I think it's still very tough for people perception to change that its business is involving in a risk that chances they might change ugly one day. So, it make sense that foreign funds are pulling off as they are not confident. Until there's a clear policy from government or further grab of government contracts, confidence level on MYEG will be volatile. What i like with MYEG is they are not trying to settle down with only malaysia but in countries that have huge populations like indonesia, philippines and bangladesh. They will need to prove critics that they are very wrong.

Is ROC important? of coz it is, but ROC do change when earning growth. And earning growth doesn't comes from air, it comes from business itself. So instead of studying its business ricky look at past data but not future ROC and said it should not worth what price is completely bs. Valuation doesn't come this way. Your merely stock analysis, a few but so far prove wrong had already mean a lot. An investment talk is completely not persuasive when analysis is not practically on business instead whole bunch of academic theory. This is what most disagree. Why many had to stand out to oppose? I think it's more to your behaviour.

It’s really not a good idea to trade company shares now, especially when it is growing at fast pace.

Not sure if short term serve well or not, but the dividend yield itself is attractive enough and they likely afford to sustain this dividend with their coming earnings, with 200million backup.

scientex plastics packaging division have recorded lower margins than thong guan all these years(latest quarter slightly surpass tguan merely 1.59% ebit), so if you consider plastics packaging only scientex's roic would be worse than thongguan. Of coz you need to consider what industry are they into. You are comparing peers not Semiconductor companies like MI who currently have ROIC of 25% and its still growing fast.

shrobin, congrats for holding since last year. your patience finally pay off now proving Gdb management have the ability to grab as much contract this year. For me, i started notice Gdb as i think their management is shareholder-oriented... but at around 29sen i didn't feel comfortable as their order book couldn't give me a clear enough visibility of future earnings. I didn't buy even after they get the contract from desapark city maybe because my bias thought told me its from retaining client. I only start buying my first batch when they announce a contract from kota kinabalu on nov 7, ended up paying much more premium but i still feel comfortable holding average at below 40sen according to current business situation. I would say within 2-4 years, gdb will be stronger high-rise players and perhaps getting into infrastructure player. Valuation wise i hope it could be a 400-500million gadang level, but i do know there's many challenges ahead. To order to get themselves into a billion contraction player, sustainable is still a big question. A billion revenue doesn't get them inside billion club, nor with many order books(like mrcb, order book is almost 7xtimes of their valuation given)... sustainability of earnings and strong balance sheet is necessity. (i expected in order for them to grow that big, corporate actions like right issue, pp should be done even giving less dividend). i actually do hope gdb can be rather picky choosing higher margins projects as niche as kerjaya too...

shrobin, when we are trying value a business we do take considerations of our projected earnings visibility into. But we need to ask an important question, is it sustainable and reliable? Looking at kerjaya, they have been growing for almost consecutively 20 quarters with growing revenue as well. Their gross margin are around 20% with net margin 13%, and were way higher when they smaller. Now they still have 3.4billion order book visibility and proven for years to get a 1.6billion today. Looking at Gdb, they still have not proven its sustainability in earnings to get your 1.25billion valuation. There are too many assumptions on whether they can get more orders and having good margins on these projects (which clearly they proven they don't). I do agree that this management have done a great efficiency on operating expenses, getting fair salary and get their real paid through dividend payout. *Many of their subcontractors are in top 30 shareholders too, and hence dividend is important to them. i do agree gdb is a niche construction players on high-rise, but looking at them competing prices to get contracts i doubt earnings will be sustainable through 2024 to get valuation of 1.25billion. Value using too much assumptions is dangerous, but i wish gdb keep growing.

earning visibility is there, don't be afraid. Is raw material price sustainable - Don't forget RAPID PIC capacity is coming this year end if not Q1 20. Is revenue sustainable? It seems previous few years they have done well, but struggling through expansion of capacity. On right track i would say. They are a good packaging company.

I already have much exposure average below 7, so make little sense to average up at this price. I would love to wait for more discount day too... but i doubt those big institutional funds would dispose at even more depress bargain as PIC seems on track to complete any soon by now. They are already heading ahead, especially after they paid PIC a visit..... i would say the excitement experience is certainly different than looking on paper and figures..

BullRun_93, I am not commenting whether dufu is a buy or not. I am just saying from my point of view this quarter results is a healthy result. Definitely not a bomb, perhaps that’s why share price bounces back. When I see so many pessimist panic sell and say dufu gonna collapses I simply take advantages by clicking buy. But yes, I made my contra gain and decided not to stay invest..
