Any way I am a small time investor trying to make some 'lunch money' Also I enjoy cracking my brains on which counter to invest in as it gives me a challenge and keeps by blood flowing. Hey fellas vinvin & firebird2. Have been following yr comments. I did buy some Aeon bf the bonus & split as mentioned earlier. Seems now its more or less stablised in price.May go in to buy a bit more of Aeon. Don't forget guys where the mother(aeon) goes the child( aeon cr) follows. Div wise Aeon Cr gives a better return. Have u guys thought ab Aeon Credit. If I am not mistaken Aeon holds a substantial stake in Credit. Check out the Div Credit has been giving in the past 4 years. Just a topic for discussion. To add furthur pain IOI GAVE their shareholders 1 lot of IOIpg FREE if you held 3 lots of IOI and you could pay rm1.79 .Quantum was 6 lots IOI: 1 lot IOIpg. In Boustead case, as a shareholder looks like I have to PAY rm1.60 for 1 lot Boustd Plant. Nothing given FREE. We Boustead shareholders are just like general public IPO. Only we are assured, but quantum still not know. Ptui.....

Would you believe that Boustead Shareholders till now are in the dark about their entitlement of Boust Plantation shares. When IOI listed their prop section shareholders knew 8 months ahead their entitlement. 3 lots IOI: 1 lot Prop share I wonder whats the secret & why shareholders are kept in the dark????? Poor management really

Vinvin & Firebird. I am also involved in Aeon. Holding some bht @14.98 come div. Looking at the trend, I will hold my horses and buy after X. Seen a few examples where I bought too early after X. Need to wait a week to 10 days after X. Good examples were Karex after X 3.20 and if bought later could get @ rm3.Now 3.14. MKH ex all 3.72 now price around 3.58. These are only examples and not a must. Only my thoughts. Trade at own risk. Have a good day & good luck

Q-ing up has taught me a lesson many times. Waiting to buy then share price takes off. My reasoning, if for long term a few sen extra also give, but if for trading and penny stock then got to consider as every sen counts. Cheers

I salute you for throwing in the WHITE flag.at least you are honest and a person with passion for what you do. Its no use banging yr head against a brick wall. I was in govt service and worked as a teacher too. Couldn't wait to retire as the system was just breaking down. As you rightly said 'we teachers are supposed to teach not to be clerks' So in 1998 I retired. Sorry could not quit as had a family to support. Now i follow yr comments on this blog and Icon 8888 and look for advise on the market.Am a small time investor/trader, and now pushing 71, am enjoying MY life. Thanks Patrick for yr comments. However I still have confidence in this counter due to its div payment. Its Div is only around 38% of its total earnings, so for me I will stay as 62% of earnings is back in the Co.

Hi Vinvin. My guess is theres money to be in this counter if yr patient. Just buy at this price and lock up. Open at X'mas 2014 or CNY 2015 and sure will have profit. Another good example is Karex (not promoting pl) Consumer item and now after X around rm3.10. Just give it time and will move slowly. These 2 counters are not for traders. Trade at yr own risk

Just checked the records. Gave a bonus issue of 1:2 in May 2011. Announcement made on 25.5.2011. After 3 years of waiting is something good coming. I hope so.

Bought @14.88 on Monday now holding on.Average price will be rm3.75.Will collect div at 22sen. Think at this price and holding medium term can make some handsome profit.

If the price for 5 before split is rm17.30, Guys please tell me if this share is better than Public Bank, LPI and Aeon Credit earnings wise etc. Do some pondering

Just announced final div of 24sen. Ex date 30/6. Improvement over last yrs final of 19.5 sen. Now waiting for bonus announcement. Hopeful will come in 2 months time like mother share

I was stuck in the Berjaya group of shares for years and BToto was giving pittance as div. Finally I have given up on this group and moved on. Now I will not touch this group of shares with a 10 feet pole. Learnt my lesson the hard way

No CA for me. I am going long on the mother share. Results and upward movement of mother will taken time. give it 6 months and I think 3.50 no problem. New factories coming up to increase production.
