KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 9): The FBM KLCI rose 0.3%, tracking Asian market gains on expectation that the US Federal Reserve will keep interest rates low amid weaker world economic prospects. Still-low US rates will essentially prompt capital flows into emerging Asian market assets for better returns.
Malaysia's KLCI rose 5.57 points to settle at 1,829.89 at 12.30pm on gains in stocks like Sime Darby Bhd and Astro Malaysia Holdings Bhd.

In d present scenario over supply of crude n culprit is Saudi Arabia purposely oversupplying so next month opec meeting to reduce production but on d whole too many players in this business. Nevertheless demand for oil will always be there. Winter coming next month n demand arises n war u need oil n so on. I personally feel lucky this happened b4 d RI for d purchase of BE may be dropped which is my personal opinion.the story of rm10 for long term u can forget but with d present assets once crude oil price stabilises so price may stabilise 80-1.20 like other related stocks.

Gentlemen please don't get me wrong, please read "the edge" in d google n a very bad picture painted on O&G sector n 2day starbiz O&G diggers r slowing down so i feel BE may be dropped.During winter more energy is needed n for war also need a lot of oil..anyway u read d edge so that we will be of d same "wave length"...i am waiting for u.

I don't think so, our Budget already welcomed by Moody, reason GST, removal of subsidy, reduction in corporate tax, stimulating ETP, RAPID project etc n our country so far is free from natural calamities n foreigners r interested in our liquidity.It has been more then a month now IBFM were not able to get money from shares now they make ppl to "panic sell" hoping to make some quick money in d coming Pre Budget Rally...my2c opionion.
