@abc333, may I know how you arrived at EPS 0.3? Historically POS has been making losses for the past 6 quarters.

xterrorsinx, let's hope you're right. I'm also eagerly awaiting the QR, but I'm cautiously optimistic. Nibbled a bit C47, fingers crossed. If QR is good will top up more.

@wakarimas, it's important to look at both. Try to understand what happened and why the results are as such. Read into the report, usually the management would give some comments on the results. When investing, the best thing you can do is understand the company you're investing in. Good luck :)

@Vincy Wolf, if you take the comparison point at inception of Revenue Group, around Jul 2018 til now, REV has outgrown GHL by multiples. The last bonus issue for GHL was in 2014. Rev had one in 2019. Assuming 3000 shares at RM 0.6 in Jul 2018 (for ease of calculations)= RM 1800.
Get free bonus warrant in Jan 2019= free 1500 warrants. Share split in Dec 2019= 3000 shares become 5000 shares (and 1500 warrants become 2500 warrants). If we take today's date, the value of your holding is 5000*RM 1.2= RM 6000. And the warrants is 2500*RM 0.5= RM 1250 for total of RM 7250. Thats 300% return in 2 years. If you hold GHL in Jul 2018, the price is just RM 1.6 to RM 2 which is 25% return in 2 years. Note that current GHL price is high due to creador acquiring and low trading volume. Otherwise, it would have stagnant around RM 1.6 until now. Of course, if you hold GHL since IPO (about 15 years ago), then you're a rich person if you still are holding till now. But remember, that is 15 years of investment.
Talking in the short term of 1-2years, Revenue has outperformed GHL in every way because Revenue has much more room for growth because it is still a small company.
If you're here to trade on technicals and jump in and out every week, then none of what I said above matters. But if you're investing for long term, the key is to find good companies which have a lot of room for growth to capture the evolving economy. I believe revenue is one of the few companies in position to do that.
This is not to say GHL is a bad company, it is just that it is well established already i.e it is much difficult to see it return 300-400% again, as it has already had its explosive growth in 2005-2010. Since both GHL and REV are in the same line and are competitors, my bet is on Revenue.
This is not a buy/sell call, please do your own due diligence.

Ptrans going to fly once initiate share buy back. What does share buy back mean? It means the company reduces the number of outstanding shares. Give you example: If the company has 10 mil shares, and profit of 1mil. The EPS is 1mil/10mil or 0.1 per share. If company buys back 1mil shares, the EPS is then calculated as 1/9=0.111 per share. This increases shareholder value.
Following the above example, if the company proposes 1mil as dividend (100% payout ratio), the dividend per share increases from 1mil/10mil shares= 0.1 per share, to 0.111 per share.
NOTE: For Ptrans, the dividend payout ratio has historically been around 25-35%. You can calculate this as dividend/profit. If a company payout ratio is too high, it is not sustainable.
I always view sharebuyback as a good thing, as the company is confident in itself and rewards the long term shareholders. In short term, share buy back may push up the price as well.

To everyone who keep asking the question, "Can buy now? When can buy? Good time to enter?" it is clear to see that probably you are new to investing. Maybe you decide to invest because of the MCO, or follow some "guru" telling you buy this buy that. So let me tell you know, you will NEVER be able to know when is the "lowest" point in the stock market. Only you can say when is a good time to buy because it depends on your risk appetite and target price.
My advice to you is this: Study the company you're looking to invest in. Asking the questions "can buy now? good time?" shows your lack of knowledge. Before entering the stock market, I think it is better for you to use a virtual platform like bursa marketplace to experiment before you get burnt. Read some books, look at the charts and company fundamentals and future prospects.
Making money is not easy, especially in this time with recession looming, virus outbreaks, and trade war happening around the world.
Everyone in this Revenue forum is probably an investor in Revenue, thus we believe the company has good prospects and future growth that's why we put our money here. If you ask if the company is good, the answer here will obviously be yes. If you ask in GHL forum, they will say GHL better, and so on.

Satha, klci up 1250-1400 only up about 12%.
Straits already up from 14-17=22%. as I already said earlier, whenever drop to 15 sen and below, top up another batch without worry. Follow brother learnbyheart, study the company then you will have confidence. If you throw your money to companies but you never do your own homework, whenever price drops you will panic. But if you have confidence, when price drop you will buy more.

Reiko, whenever you are not sure, it is always wise to space out your purchases. You can never buy at the lowest point because nobody can predict when the lowest point is. For example, if you have rm10k, split your money to batches of RM 2-3k, then observe the share price movement. Of course, if you are fully confident in the company, then you should just whack RM 10k, for example last month when REV dropped to 0.7x, which is totally unreasonable for a company with record breaking high profit every year. Before covid crash, revenue was around 1.3, so for the short term I would say upside limited because there's a resistance there. But in the long term? Revenue is the future of e payment systems! A Revolutionary company. I'm confident that it can still rise by 100+%. It has already risen by more than 200% since 2018!

tksw sifu you seem very lonely here. I'm also investor of PTRANS since last year, never sold. I believe this stock can keep and hold long long. Everytime drop below 0.18..0.17...0.16..0.15.. I top up more shares. Now can sit down and shake leg for a while. When covid is gone and everything goes back to usual, I believe PTRANS at 0.35-0.4 should be no problem, target by 2021.

@jetko capex will be reduced that's for sure. However serba work is more OPEX instead of CAPEX as they are doing maintenance works. In fact, when production volume slows down, it may be more beneficial to conduct maintenance during the downtime because if during the peak period, shutting down a line for maintenance is really costly!

Finally threw away all my holdings of this company. I bought at over RM 2, thinking, hoping, believing, that the management can turn around. In the end, I decided this is a useless company and, despite more than 50% losses, I'll just bite the pain and move on. I pray everyone good luck and wealth wherever you all go.

Yes, of course, the hike in postal rate is a definite breather for POS, since they are the national courier they are forced to do unprofitable routes (which companies like gdex and dhl can conveniently avoid). Going through their Annual Report, POS looks promising. But again, I'm cautiously optimistic. Fingers crossed, POS does well. If anything, Q2 2020 (rise in volume due to MCO) should be better than Q1 2020 (increase in postal rates), which should be better than Q4 2019. The catalysts are there, I just wonder if POS can capitalise on them well.
