It's the uncertainty of what that solution will be. Market normally do not like uncertainty. So hng33 was right to move to Puncak first where there is certainty. I stayed with KPS because the outcome's likely to be higher than 0.1 x BV.

I feel KPS likely to be used to consolidate water including Splash and issue shares to the Selangorians! That to me is the best solution.

hng33. My take on KPS: they are negotiating. The final deal is likely to be an improvement on the baseline price of 0.1 X BV. Otherwise why should they waste their time to negotiate? The negotiation is with the Fed.

Puncak WB had a 10 sen premium to the mother share. That seems to be gone now.

However with Splash supplying 60% of Selangor's treated water, it will be a problem adjusting the tariffs downward. So in my analysis, they will still need Splash so Selangor's hands can be freed for overall water consolidation.

I think investors are still very cautious. Volume and speed moderately, unlike the 30 million plus volume in July 2013.

I hold some warrants. If special dividend mother share price shoot up prior to ex-date, the warrant price will too. If warrant is exercised, then cost of mother share will be: warrant market price + RM1 (exercise price) + premuim or - discount. This means that I can also benefit once the the mother share shoots up by either exercising the warrant for the mother share or just sell the warrant. Please correct me if I am wrong, anyone?

@sudahkena. Relax. They cannot force take-over at 0.1 BV. This will be virtual confiscation. Lenders will cabut and the RM1 trillion Malaysian bond market will collapse together with the economy. Also against the constitution as it's not fair compensation. It's a sandiwara. As to what purpose, I am not yet sure!

I consider KPS more alluring than Puncak because of the known unknowns.

For me hng33 valuation is conservative.
