Kwantas Corp Bhd is engaged in the business of oil palm plantation. The company operates through three segments. Its Oil palm plantations and palm products segment is involved in management and operation of palm oils, fats products, and of bulking installations. The Oleochemical products processing segment manufactures and sells soap noodle, glycerine, and stearic acid products. Its Other segment comprises of letting of commercial properties, generating and supply of electricity and steam, and purchase and sale of diesel. The company manufactures edible oils under its own brands which include Cap Sedap, Minyak Emas, Cap Payau and A one. Additionally, it also exports a range of palm oil products, such as palm fatty acid distillate, crude palm oil, crude palm kernel oil and palm kernel.

How to be entitled
To be entitled for any of the above, you need to purchase the shares one trading day before the ex-Date. You will not be entitled for the above if you purchase the shares on or after the ex-Date.

On ex-Date, the price will be adjusted to reflect the theoretical market price of the stock after the entitlement. You can sell the shares on / after ex-Date and still be entitled to the corporate exercise. The key is to purchase the shares before ex-Date.

How to apply
No application is needed. Shareholders that fulfill the requirement above will receive the dividend in their registered bank account on the payment date automatically.
