shuen, your rite, Tan kw has misled, besides 0.56 profir, retailer A also got 0.65 input tax yet to redeem, in fact the total earning is 1.12 as oppose to retailer B who will have no interest to sell as the purchase price is 12.10 and the RRP is 12.10 too, correct me if i am wrong please

I beg a differ, RRP = display price. Under GST Act 2014 section 9(5), display price is GST inclusive price.

From 1 April 2015, all price tags and advertised price must be GST inclusive. Retailers should start preparing their pricing strategies now ;)
No result.

i think there a mistake if not mistaken & allow me to share
RRP not inclusive 6% GST within RRP but charge separately
only retailer with GST licence can add 6% GST to RRP +6% GST where he can claim back later
but retailer without GST cannot charge GST but only sell at RRP, at the end he will bare extra cost due to factory/distributor GST imposed on him but cannot claim back from end buyer...
So end consumer should make sure retailer got GST collection licence only then pay the GST
