DAP has launched a flood donation drive to collect funds to help flood victims in Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang and Perak, following similar efforts by PKR and PAS.

The party’s organising secretary Loke Siew Fook said to kick-start the donation drive, Central DAP committee has allocated RM10,000 for aid relief efforts.

He said the party’s state representatives have been told to collect funds in their respective areas this weekend.

"The donations will be channelled to areas which are badly affected by the floods," he said in a statement today.

In addition, Loke said a container of bottled mineral water and bread would also be sent to Gua Musang and Kuala Krai on Monday to be distributed to the victims in the areas.

"Efforts are under way to send more containers to the badly affected areas in Kelantan."

Loke said those wishing to contribute to the disaster fund may bank money into special disaster account "Tabung Dana Kecemasan" (Ambank 8881002244649). – December 26, 2014.

Why do DAP can only donate 10,000? Penang as 2nd richest state in Malaysia still ask rakyat to donate? Rakyat gave so much money to DAP during ceramahs and yet during this tragic time has no shame to ask money from rakyat again?

He also busy with 1mdb , trying to explain Gst , and removing subsidies rational

DAP must explain why only after pressured to help Kelantan announce 1.5 million allocation yet to be approved by LGE who is on vacation. DAP leaders only good at talking and making treats but so far fail to help its Pakatan PAS in Kelantan.

Let us all pray that the situation gets better.... I grew up in kelantan (80s-90s) and understand the people's pain of sometimes losing everything..... It is too late to blame anyone..... Let's hope for the best.... Be sincere and help....

Ahjib is just too controversial. He doesnt know how to tackle his critics. Unlike Mahadel who not only know how to answer every hard criticism thrown but also beat his opponents in return. Unlike Mahadel who make us laugh, motivated and inspired to be better, Ahjib reduce us to be a laughing stock and degraded. Event like MH370, Ahjib hide behind Hishamudin refusing to take questions from media, afraid that he will blunder(Ahjib blunders all the time). Ahjib become easy target not only from opposition but from rakyat as well. It is better for Ahjib to resign or the current administration. He is unsuitable to lead.
