Yes Indeed. Price of Nestle is the highest in Bursa. As a result many investors have abstained from buying this share because of the low DY at 1.92% compared to other stocks which give a DY of 3% to 4%. I tell them that they have to look at both the DY and its ROE which is 74.93% compared to other shares that give a ROE of only less than 10%. I also tell them if they consider the Nestle share is too high to buy, then they should buy only one lot of 100 Nestle shares and reap its benefits over a longer investment period, say more than 3 years. One must acknowledge that its the appreciation of Nestle share price over the longer time period which continues to give you a higher return to you. Comments appreciated. Investor X.
