U-shaped eleven-dash line was published in the then-Republic of China on 1 December 1947 (Chiang Kai-shek of KMT after world War II). Two of the dashes in the Gulf of Tonkin were later removed at the behest of CPC the People's Republic of China Premier Zhou Enlai, reducing the total to nine.
PRC do not recognised the Republic of China(Taiwan) hence to claim the 9 dash line is a claim the RPC (Taiwan) controlled China.
James Shoal is an underwater shoal in the South China Sea, with a depth of 22 metres below the surface of the sea, located about 45 nautical miles off Sarawak of Malaysia. It is claimed by Malaysia, the People's Republic of China, and the Republic of China.
'the under shoal located 45 nautical miles off Sarawak' whereas distance from Hainan Dao to James Shoal is more than 1000km.
If you are Malaysian and care for Malaysia then you should urge Malaysia government to sit down as equal to talk with Philipine, Brunei, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and China to solve any overlapping claim peacefully without the busybody outsider trouble makers.
Trust Malaysia wisdom and prepare well for the talk.
It is up to Malaysia leaders how well prepared they are when facing with China leaders.
So blame no one if yourself did not do the homework.
********
Sorry to say this, but somehow so many of your posts still seem to indicate that you still consider yourself as Chinese first, instead of Malaysian first.
Philippines also claimed Sabah, do they have soldiers on Sabah? No.
With regard to 9 dash line claim, you can consider it obsolete already. Like the philippines claim on Sabah, It is unlikely to be fulfilled because the majority of islands have already been claimed by Vietnamese army, some by Philipines, China, a couple by TAIWAN, Malaysian army has claimed ours too. GOOD JOB MALAYSIA BOLEH! The whole SCS dispute is like buffett loh, first come first serve. Next comes the SCS code of conduct, to be concluded soon once western power fails to stir up problem and leave. Their goal has always been to destabilize region where they see it would challenge their primacy or supremacy.
On 20 May 1963, the Republic of Vietnam Navy landed on Amboyna Cay and rebuilt the sovereignty stele.[5]
On 28 April 1975, the Vietnam People's Navy landed on Amboyna Cay but later left the cay due to harsh climate.
In 1978 the Royal Malaysian Navy landed on the island and placed markers. However, the markers were subsequently destroyed by Vietnam People's Navy who has returned and occupied the cay since 10 March 1978.[6]
On 31 March 1979, forces occupying the cay fired warning shots at a boat transporting six amateur radio operators ("hams") attempting a DX-pedition to Amboyna Cay.[citation needed]
In 1982, a Singapore yacht operated by the owner and his wife transporting four German hams on a DX-pedition to Amboyna Cay was fired upon by Vietnamese forces. One of the hams, Diethelm Mueller, was hit by an artillery round and fell overboard. The yacht burned and the rest of the party drifted for 11 days on debris. Another ham, Gero Band, died of thirst the day before the survivors were rescued by a passing Japanese freighter which took them to Hong Kong.[7]
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
