So US now wants to be hero in South China Sea! I mean, Phillipines just chase away China ships using those rubber boats! Good job! Wait, doesn't US has mighty military base in Phillipines!
Even if US willing to send their ships to patrol South China Sea, how long before it bankrupt them! It's a very expensive game you know! As for China, they send those fishing boats aka warships to do all the spying and patrolling! Yeah, catch fish while making dominance in South China Sea!
I think China will eventually control SCS in decade or so! Asean will have no choice but to ask permission from China if they want to get little fish! And China will charge Asean for any catch!
