coyo: Ex date means that the offer expired, usually memang ex together with entitlement, if the company didn't state, mmg biasa tak state pun. in this case however, inix ada state.

Inix OR is currently trading at discount compared to mother share..mother is trading at 13c while the OR is at 1c. Right issue subscription is 10c, therefore example if you buy INIX-OR at 1c and subscribe rights issue, you will get mother shares plus free warrants..

So theoretically, the reason why this happen is maybe many investors do not want to subscribe to the right issue, hence many sellers than buyers emerge

INIX-OR will only be trading for another 2 days, should there be long term investors who evaluate that this right issue is a good deal for investment, we would see the price of INIX-OR rising within the last 2 days where there will be more buyers than sellers

Sorry I don't understand the OR... Means if I bought mother share before ex-date, for example at 1000 x 0.16, then I would be entitled to get 2000 OR, right? So if I hold the both the mother share and OR till the rights cease trading, what would happened?

Posted by anakayambursa > 2015-10-30 15:51 | Report Abuse

@ Newgen
If you hold OR after it cease trading, then means you have to subscribe to the right issue by adding 10c for each unit of OR you have

so means if you have 2000 OR, you will have to topup 10c X 2000 = RM 200 to get 2000 new INIX mother shares

so after the new mother share listed, you will have total 3000 INIX mother share

currently people selling OR because they do not have capital to subscribe..whereas for buyer, the OR is currently at discount because they just need to add 10c to get new mother share and mother share currently at 13c

@anakayambursa if like that, 2000 shares at 10c then untung la? sell at 13c also untung 40bucks? am I on the right track?

Posted by anakayambursa > 2015-10-30 18:37 | Report Abuse

@Newgen

yes you are right..plus you will profit on the free warrant which you will get..so means you profit 40 bucks plus whatever the free warrant price on opening day

at closing today we see lack of selling at 1c compared to yesterday..this would maybe sign that those who do not want to subsribe have sold off their shares..

this might signal a turn of tides, if on monday long term investors start to come in to subscribe the right issue, then we should see some rebound in the OR shares..

I bought Inix 100000@0.18. I was offered 200000 RI@ 0.10. If I decide to subscribe to RI, I have to fork out RM20000k. I will own 300000 + 150000 free warrant. Should I subscribe or shouldn't I?
Your advise pls

@ myshare, see my second assumption posted on Oct 29.
If my assumption comes true then you will make profit as stated.
The calculation was converted to per share, before and after rights
with warrants.

Correction to my 3rd assumption:
Bought a mother share before x-date : 0.18
Sold a mother share after x-date : 0.13
Contra lost per share: 0.13 - 0.18 = - 0.05
Subscribe to 2 rights shares : 2 x 0.10 = 0.20
Sold the 2 new rights shares on listing : 0.26 (@0.13)
Sold the new warrants on listing: 0.03 x 1.5 = 0.045
Profit if sold all the new rights shares and warrants: = 0.26 + 0.045 - 0.20 - 0.05 = 0.055
Profit if bought 100,000 shares before x-date : 5,500

Correction to my 2nd assumption:
Bought a mother share before x-date: 0.18
Subscribe two rights shares: 2 x 0.10 = 0.20
Total price paid for 3 shares = 0.38
Sold all rights shares on listing: 3 x 0.13 = 0.39
Profit per share = 0.39 - 0.38 = 0.01
Sold all new warrants on listing = 1.5 x 0.03 = 0.045
Total profit per share + warrants : 0.01 + 0.045 = 0.055
Profit if bought 100,000 mother shares = 5500.00

Correction to my 1st assumption:
Bought one OR: 0.03
Subscibe to a OR: 0.10
Sold on listing of the new right shares: 0.13
Sold on listing of new warrants: 0.03 x 0.75 = 0.0225
Profit per OR bought: 0.0225
Profit if bought 100,000 OR = 2250.00

@anakayambursa

Thanks for sharing. I might sell half and keep the other half of the OR since I do not want to put all my eggs into one basket.
And hopefully tomorrow will be a good start for INIX and INIX-OR again.

Yep tomorrow its possible buyer to overrun seller since the OR is relatively cheap compared to its mother and this might entice those who are wanting to subscribe the rights issue to buy into OR

We will see how it goes tomorrow

Guys, the OR to Mother share transfer is done at 10cents per OR correct? Means when the OR cease trading, it will automatically convert to Mother Share and we just make sure our trading account has sufficient funds, right?
Or do we need to contact our remisiers to ask them to do any manual conversion since most of us now are Online traders?
Sorry i'm first time dealing with warrants and rights.

Or is it that I keep 2000 OR, then at the same time I go guy 2000 mother share at 10cents seperately? please advise.
I'm not sure how this subscription really works.

Yea, you need to fill in the form, can ask from your remiser, buy and paste on the designated
space on the form 'setem hasil RM10' + bank draft of the amount of rights shares applied and send it to the designated address
