Nic, trade war must come to a truce. Looming US debts might lead to recession or depression if there is no increase of productivity.Need to give Americans space to improve their productivity.
Their debts have surpassed their productivity. In 2008 recession, DJIA drops to 6000pts. Now, trading at 26000 pts. Do you think American has amassed 4 times more productivity and wealth over period of 10 years? or DJIA is driven by debts?
For Malaysia's case, definitely driven by debts. U can check from both household debts and gov debts. The real productive sectors are exports. From RM 50 billion a quarter to RM 80 billion a quarter. Hopefully, VIS contributes abit to it.
I agree with prime, someone has been beating the price up. Unfounded selldown at many level.
well, if u believe in VIS prospect. buy and keep. You won't know when is this fella gonna push it back up. Reason, there is no point left hand pass right hand in selldown to collect more and not push it back up later.
Think logically, a good way to exit is to slowly sell bits by bits at high. Suddenly, dumped 5-10mil shares a day is gonna cause a selldown. His 5-10mil shares won't fetch good price. But it's useful to buy and sell 5-10mil shares himself and collect another 5-10 mil in between.
Now, I wonder with additional shares he has, is he gonna go another round of selldown? Two possibility now given low market activity. 1) he has collected enough and waiting for a good time to push it back up and sell. 2) he is short of ammo to create a selldown.
Market really no common sense one. Comparing VIS with JFTech...VIS has higher revenue, better margin, strong QoQ n YoY Growth and higher NTA trading at 75Mil market cap. JFTech with poorer revenue, poorer everything. Trading at 175mil market cap.
Apa logic? Answer is, market has no logic. They buy and sell sesuka hati. The logic is the more u try to say VIS is good. Market become skeptical and sell. This is called backfire effect. When u try to say something is good, the normal stupid human response is "Really, or not?". You show them data, they say u try to hard sell to con them.
I think I better join Pang everyday TP20 sen better. Maybe the market may think it's not that bad and start to buy. =D
don't let ppl con you to sell. this is a super stock~~ SIA semiconductor sales up, malaysia export up, ringgit weaken~ all good for vis. just buy and hold for investment and not for short term gambling.
Vincent. That's a poor assumption. If you assume market knows everything. Then where is the opportunity? No one buys high and no one sells low. Everyone trade at it's fair value.
The market will grind to standstill. So, the opportunity lies at market being emotional and ignorant.
P.S. I'm not saying i know all. I could be both ignorant one who bought high and low. I bought both at 34sen and also 69sen. What i'm saying is, the market filled with people like myself. Both ignorant and emotional. There is no explanation for a selldown.
How do anyone quantify market's ignorance and emotion? e.g. Fair Value after DCF should be RM1.00. Market stupid optimist, RM1.50. Market stupid pessimist, RM0.50. Market stupid and super pessimist, RM0.25.
the best u can do is aim for resilient business and will be in the green regardless of economic climate. The price depends on market stupid optimist or stupid pessimist. If market isn't stupid, they should strictly for fair value based on DCF.
