inwest88, I also thought I would be rich in 1993! Came 1994 when the market crashed, I lost all I made from the market plus a substatial amount of my own capital! Since then had been cautious, and did not participate in the 1996-97 second board euphoria. I had been a great fan of 冷眼but found that his method is not too structured, so had been hunting around for books to guide me to make money from the market until i managed to get the two books that I mentioned to bsngpg before . With knowledge I got from the two books, plus the discussions in i3 ( especially those by KCChong )I think I am a real investor now: more careful, knows what to check and look for before putting my chips down. Ya we have seen the likes of Aokam Perdana, CASH, Safuan, MUI group( that's why I still dare not buy PMCorp despite Calvin's promotion),Mycom ( hokkien friends said...aiya, mai gong lah ( 哎呀,不要讲啦)),Granite, Golden Plus etc that had shine and gone down. Scarry! I remember one of the reasons that ppl advise to invest in Transmle is because Robert Kuok has got a substantial amount of shareholding in it, but what happened? So come to think of it, the big names and the smart brains ( as mentioned by KCChong in refutting the fortune teller )in the SPACs may not mean anything at all ! I wont bet on them, for sure!
fatinvest, in life we have to pay to become wiser and more knowledgeable in the stock market. My sincere advice is the newbies in i3 is not to get too much involved in the market but concentrate on their jobs for career advancement. I am worried they simply follow those who just shout buy buy buy, sell sell sell, target price is so much so much, going to fly, sell before it crashes, directors selling, the company is getting big contracts etc. They should go through the postings and see who are people with the genuine stuff !
Wow! Adding all up, we have more than 100 years of experience in Bursa. Not a joke, we can utilize the 100 years experience to beat the broad market. To those newbies, please listen to advices from those Big Brothers, sometimes not only the direct messages from the wordings, but the hidden messages/concepts behind. This separates smart people from ordinary people. Good Luck.

tonylim, iron lady in JKR? Not too sure , but during one of the senior officers' conference in late eighties the then Works Minister Aiyoyo Samy openly praised one of the lady district engineer ( District of Johor Bahru ?)as "the best district engineer simply " because when his car passed by some road work site, she was there"! So is she " the one "?

Hi KC Chong : yesterday you said you are interested on one of the counter which I coincidentally have in my portfolio. In conjunction to this, I would recommend you to look at Genting. If you are not interested on it, I would like to hear your reason too.
Hi All the good friends or Lau Jiau(Old Birds) : Please kindly drop your comments on Genting too.
