suppoort by epf n mitsubishi fin.cannot with hold the slide.must be more 20 mil units,fund holders esp foreign are significant price movers.so dont be alarm by these holders whose funds move around the world markets causing volatile price changes.these are the market movers.price to book value of 1.2 looks best of the finance lists. p/b of maybank 2, public bank >3.

This counter a bit gila one, during the peak in KLSE already started dropping till now...may be the price is controlled by EPF or somebody else...don't risk your hard earned money in this stock...just my sincere comment...

Actually the current price is quite good to enter... as this stock gives good dividend. Nonetheless, the internal management problem have not been solved, staff attrition is alarming, business growing stagnant (other banks the same too)...

give my vote to rhb n affin being being the best value of the banking stocks;price only 20% above it nta of rgt 6.00 ;find another stock carrying more value.mgrment. investor relations,earnings.owners (epf); all more.than satisfactory even good.dont miss an opportunity that come barely twice a year.

the 1H2013 results was lower than budgeted number, but still can afford to pay good dividend in July. Long term this is good counter. But just dunno how long it would go above 8.50 again.

how can div distribute at 6cts equiv to RM60 only, chicken feed. if you put into bank to earn interest at 3cts for RM7300 (1 LOT) interest earn also RM219 per year. that's why dubai investor not happy. rhbcap mgt in problem managed by kellee kam.

substantial owners should direct management to address these vacant significant mgrmenf positions so that day to day decisions n key banking objectives are decided n monitored strictly to ensure planned directions maded are observed.many divisional heads are not filled for too long;no excuses even if company is planning buy out or corperate take over.

Do read the latest issue on The Edge where there is an interview with group MD.They have plans to resubmit the application to buy Bank Mestika Indonesia and also looking at a Chinese bank in the near future.
There is also the recent resignation of Maybank's President of BII Indonesia and he is speculated to join another banking group.

as you see, as long as osk is a substantial shareholder, this counter price will be squeezed in between the limit not to exceed RM8, unless OSK takeover excercise is over.
