More than 60% of Maybank shares are owned by PNB/Amanah Saham and EPF.
These funds get exemption, no need to report the NAV / unit, undervalued price is not a concern.
You see the size of these funds are growing due to new money keep coming in.
Meaning they buy more than sell, low price definitely an advantage.

For me, I buy Maybank for the following reasons:
1) As an high interest rate FD.
2) As an emergency fund, can sell it very fast as the volume is big.
3) Volatility is much lower than other index counters, would not incur heavy loss if Sell in urgent.

Hi Felix888,

Armada has already breached 200 Moving Average today and currently oversold. That is good since it gave Mabel a chance to collect more today. Need to wait for it to rebound. For Sap, Mabel will continue goyang kaki as it is currently moving sideways. we just need to be patience ..it will cum back.

Mabel been in and out of SD and SE many times from it's peak lor just like Dnex, Armada, Velesto etc etc. Fortunately Mabel does not freeze like Monk when it matters. It's a moving target as Mabel follow Smart Money.

Mabel only cum in when Mabel see value and can make money. Besides, it’s human instinct to be passionate on what you do what more if you put your stakes in it. Look it this way if someone come to your house and start complaining that your house is bad lah, your kitten is crazy lah, your furniture is cheap lah, you made a lousy investment lah etc etc ...

How do you feel?..

As for SD, just because you lose doesn't mean everyone else has to lose..,

There are currently 3 types of Investors in Serba:

1. Bonus Issues Investors (BULL)
2. Pre July21 Suspension Investors (BEAR)
3. Post July21 Suspension Investors (BULL)

The one that benefits the most is Category 1 who was awarded Bonus Issues, Dividends and took price action during Dec 2020 rally. 2nd is Category 3 who took massive price action during July 2021 rally and November and December 2022 Pull Back.

The Biggest loser are in Category 2 who freeze like Monks. They become Salmon and one of the most dramatic changes, and perhaps the least obvious one, happens in their eyes for crying too much over the last 18 month murmuring Amaama, Amaama, Amaama.

They are all lonely senior citizen, insecure chicken with massive unlimiting believes, totally blocked and lonely, anxiety, angry, losers, defensive, depressed, over thinking, victim, lonely, rejected. no problem, if it drops to 8.00 or below I will be only too happy to pump in another 150K-250K to harimau. sit back and wait for dividends. as it stands now, my DY from harimau better than EPF at 7.3%. Beside harimau, my other high DY is YTLP at 7.4%

Actually if you have more than 1M in EPF, did you know that you can draw down a minimum of 50K each time as long as balance maintain 1M in EPF? at EPF annual dividend of at least 5.+% I figured that as long as you maintain 1.2M in your EPF, you can withdraw 50K 'free' money annually while maintaining 1.2M in your account?. that;s a sweet way to get free money to spend or invest in your share portfolio. sweet idea isn't it?

I started putting voluntary contribution of 60k this year and i calculated within 4 years together with EPF dividend at minimum 5.0% (drew up a spreadsheet to auto calculate.. if dividend more than 5.0% I will meet my goals faster) I would be able to get free money every year when I retire. that is my goal. I'll sell off most of my portfolio stocks and just maintain Harimau, YTLP and maybe IGBCR for cashflow to spend.

guys noticed how some share prices jump erratically today?. Bcos today is Quadruple Witching Day, Case in point, Airport got hammered almost daily and today jumped up 16 sens. Happens every quarter 4 times a year. Fund managers doing portfolio rebalancing. I bet monday back to normal. surprised no one play with harimau

Didnt know that had already bump up to 100K as at 1 june 2023. anyway I just topped up to max the balance. going to transfer all from ASN soon too. currently i am at 30/70. TBH Harimau DY is good for me atm as I average down due to previous DIRP issues. but for the amount I invested in Harimau which is almost 12 x which I had invested in YTLP, my paper gain is the same amount... which is sad. on the hindside, if i had switched all my Harimau and add to my YTLP, I would have made at least a cool 291K in clean profit instead of just 15K now! with all that profit, park all in EPF and slowly nibble the yearly dividends!

At 30/70, brother jeffchan is very cash rich, plenty of bullets to top up when there's sharp correction. A very safe investment strategy.
Investor who has this kind of discipline and patience will most likely not loose money in the market.
