Hi Sineo,if I understand the article correctly,it should be about Malaysia equities weightage in MSCI EM index being cut down 33basis points. In order for the index to track closely every component markets movement,funds have to sell out certain portion of their Malaysia holdings to meet the correct proportion and Malaysia weightage in the index, and this action will particularly impact both maybank & cimb the most since these two are those few largest components in KLCI and carry huge weightage.

“However, with MSCI reducing Malaysia's weightage in the EM index by 33 basis points (effective June 1), funds will sell out of their positions, affecting Maybank (-10 basis points) and CIMB (-7 basis points) the most."

i think the recession is imminent given our political , financial upheavals continue unabated! Just too bad!
many had predicted it may set in at year 2017? That is a 10 yr cycle continued from 2007/1997/1987....
But i think we r getting nearer beginning at the middle of 2016 and early 2017.... no more oct 2017....

It is at its support level now. With big sell side, they may let it slide to get rid of these sellers before supporting.
Despite the drop in KLCI, the average PE ratio has increased, indicating most companies reporting below par results. The glut of shopping malls & condos in face of decreasing domestic demand, would banks see a drastic increase in NPL?

rule no 4....multiple batch entry to average down....if fully effort in still cannot.....continue tumbling....then either opt to cut loss or keep a while for rebound as always in strong believe share price is dynamic, up and down, overbought and oversold condition must normalize technically....then can final decide to cut on rebound to limit loss or wait for breakeven or even profit....on course target trading stock must also its fundamental, like Mayabnk have high dividend yield to support notion to keep and always apply rule 5 to trade stock that have ...' odds win > odds loss'
