As we can notice pharmaniaga,ahealth,kotra and dpharma limit up on 22th July due to the good progress in vaccine , these counters believed will be benefiary of vaccine distribution, but market didn't notice that edgenta derived more than half of its revenue and profit from its healthcare bisuness. Its largest 30 sharedholders already control 93% of its issued shares. Khanazah indirectly hold edgenta through its UEM holdings bhd as largest shareholder. If there were vaccine ,definitely edgenta would get the contract

We will probably see a reduced profit in the next quarter result, so it's likely that the management will cut the dividend payout, which will reduce the dividend yield. So replying to the fishing trip article, if the share price reaches rm4, the dividend yield will be way lower than 4% if the dividend is cut. Now this brings the question whether the share price will ever reach rm4 in the short term if there's a dividend cut.

Edgenta doesn't distribute pharmaceutical products, so a vaccine discovery will not benefit edgenta in any way.

The recent price surge is purely driven by irrational retail players who only know the fact that edgenta is in the healthcare business. The fact is edgenta mainly handles housekeeping in hospitals like cleaning bed linens and disposing clinical waste. So vaccine or not, it shouldn't affect edgenta.

Healthcare is about 40% of edgenta business. Another 40% is road maintenance & infrastructure. Sarawak state poll is coming up. Edgenta subsidary, OPUS & JKR MOU has been extended for another 6 months till November 2020...what can you achieve in 6 months??......let's wait for the plot to reveal itself.....hehehe....
