Genting plantation seen like the yield per ha somewhere only 17-19mt per ha seen to me the yield per ha is too low Vs others. It is no fertilizer application or labour problem. The yield per ha is too low and valuation still expensive

I have more ESG issues with a US T bonds that's used to fund nuclear submarines that crashes at the bottom of the Ocean, contaminating the sea, military drones that bombs and kills innocent people, that has funded countless wars against humanity. Not to mention a lower yield then the dividends given by genp. Where's the moral standing of this Macquarie analyst? At least the workers of genp are getting a decent wage and honest living.
The value that people missed out is the land owned by genp, if the land value is marked to market, the price of the land per share would probably be worth more than what the share price is today.

GenP has an excellent track record of at least 65% of dividend payout for the past 5 years. With CPO around 2000+, this translates to GenP EPS of 28 cents, dividends of 15 cents. Current CPO is above 5000+, GenP coming quarter result will be explosive, EPS easily hit more than 55 cents, dividends of 36 cents on conservative calculation! With that in mind, GenP currently is selling at Forward PE of merely 13.5, extremely undervalued comparing to peers! Catch it before GenP flies to the moon! Cheers!

@johnzhang, Genp and Taann have different set of businesses. Not really a straight forward comparison. Aside from oil palm plantations, Genp is doing downstream, properties, and premium outlets. Taann mainly in oil palm upstream operations and timber. Just the oil palm plantation alone Genp landbank is more than double compare to Taann.

All oil palm companies have their own other specialties beside the main oil palm core business.

If FCPO & CPO market prices are good (>3,500.00/ton) & total all-in costs (Mother of all Costs) in producing the CPO is 2,000.00/ton to 2,500.00/ton including tax, tax, etc, the pretty margin of 1,000.00/ton to 1,500.00/ton is excellent profit/money to them.

Laughing to the banks.
