Pinky ah, lets revisit 15/08/2024, the exact day price peaked at 4.50 zone. You are a non-believer of Taurx always calling Taurx Chao Tau Fu, Im ok also no problem. You believe trader has bad intentions here, its ok also no problem. We didnt argue or fight. Even when trader gave prompt exit warning right at the precise date 15/08/2024 and at the precise peak 4.50 price, many haters stuck at high price lost more money thereafter then nonstop bashing trader everyday even when trader's intention was good. The crowd is always very hard to please.

In this government, I only see PM making a lot of overseas trip, did not fulfill any promises made during previous General Elections campaigns, social problems like meth, loans shark, gangsterism, kongsi gelap, scamming still rampant, didn't see any noticeable improvement. His kept focusing on his own campaign around the world, telling his friends that he is back as PM. More like a image reparations due his past humiliation. It seems to me that, people's problem are trivial to him.

If he wants to keep his job as PM, he better fire someone. Because somebody is doing a terrible job. Keep firing until all the problems I mentioned earlier disappeared forever.

He didn't take the advice n took a vomiting bad karma ride all the way down to 3.52, finally by stroke of window dressing luck price rebounded n exited at 3.80+ recently. Now back to the stock market. For defensive trading strategy, a trader has to first decide on the cutloss price level even before he executes his buy order. Staying very disciplined and sticking firmly to this predetermind cutloss price is very important, no excuses, no changing of mind halfway thru, no emotions or indecisiveness especially when nasty things happen. I have encountered some involuntary long term investors here, some bought at 9.00, 8.00, 6.00, 5.00, 4.80, 4.50, etc. Had their cutloss rules been in place, what is a 5 sen or 10 sen small loss compared to losing 5.00, 4.00, 2.00, 1.00? If a trader decides to buy this stock at say 4.00/4.01, his cutloss level must first be decided beforehand. In this case, I think its prudent have a predetermined cutloss level at 3.95 or lower because if price happens to hit 3.95, the stock is in a very weak position having just made a new low with all support levels already broken (3.96 was the recent low).

Traders stay very very disciplined to their cutloss rules regardless of whatever false hope fantasies that may suddenly conjure inside their fickle mind halfway thru. The trade has obviously gone wrong, a small loss is the best loss. Decisions made beforehand when in a clear state of mind are usually much more prudent. Decisions made in an emotional mental state during market trading time when prices are constantly moving usually dont turn out well. This is how traders trade without stress, survive in the stock market and preserve their trading capital (top priority). Anything can happen in the stock market. Trade entries, position sizing, cutloss level and exit points all already predetermined. Keep the actual trading, execution of buy/sell orders very mechanical without emotions. The stock market will always be there for a trader to make the next winning trade....... only if you still have liquid funds to buy again and not be stuck/buried. Some very useful parts of my long earlier posts I cut them out here:

No need to spin on Taurx, nothing to do with it. All market drop because anticipating Trump coming into office on 20th Jan (next Monday). He promised slew of policy changes which many of them have big impact on the current status quo, like ending the wars, 100% tariffs hikes on imports etc. The latest shocker is he considering declaring national economy emergency in order for him to carry out things that he wanted to do without much obstruction. Another shocker is that he also wants to reclaim Panama canal.

So there's a lot of uncertainty when he step into the office by next Monday. I think the market will remains in a bad sentiments environment for the rest of this month. Thing may only be better after CNY.

On the question whether there will be a black swan event. This is unknown. Elon promised that he will cut capex of US governments by 70%. This will anger many many many people working for the government. Maybe another assassination attempt will trigger something. All black swan event in the past came without warning. Always good dor newbies here to spot who has real skill here and who always talking BS but no skill here. John has been totally off during 1st half of 2024. But 2nd half of 2024 onwards, significant improvement he has been generally correct except for Malaysia Budget Sin Tax.
