sad to see Jap cars die .............. they do it to themselves.

they had 20 years to prepare for it and if they had chosen, they should have make sure it succeeds in Japan first then putting in enough hydrogen stations and they could not even do that.

when China choose EV, they cover every base and make it succeed.

Japan is Toyota and Toyota is Japan and there is some thing wrong with Japan corporate culture.
Toyota gave the world the very successful Prius and yet now 2023, Toyota found themselves left far far behind and only thing they can do is lie, tell lies and empty promises.

between China threat theory to now Biden new pivot to China is not a threat theory............China certainly prefers the new theory. This is Biden new theory as he tries to save face while reversing some sanctions to help American companies caught in the cross fire.

Tesla (TSLA) experienced a decline in share prices during early trading as the electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer reduced prices once again in China. The price reductions specifically targeted some of the higher-priced variations of the Model Y. Meanwhile, Goldman Sachs has recommended Toyota Motor (TM) based on its potential for electric vehicles (EVs).

The price cuts in China negatively impacted Tesla’s stock performance. Although the specific reasons behind the price reductions are unclear, it is common for companies to adjust prices in response to market demand and competition. Tesla’s decision to lower prices on certain Model Y variants suggests a strategic move to attract a wider customer base in the Chinese EV market.
