Wheat production in Australia, the world’s second-biggest shipper, will probably decline 28 percent to the lowest level in five years, missing a government estimate, after dry weather reduced yields.
Price Gains Wheat for delivery in December was little changed at $8.77 a bushel on the Chicago Board of Trade at 7:59 a.m. in Singapore. Futures rose 0.7 percent yesterday, advancing for the fourth straight session. The grain is the best performer this year on the Standard & Poor’s GSCI Spot Index of 24 commodities.
I feel consolidation begins, n dividen would not be encouraging as explained by aunloke I expect max 2 cts only any suggestion probably I could be wrong
Wah this counter for few years back EPS boleh cari makan especially 2010, 2011. If the 3Q make good improvement not bad, plus some generosity from gov to raise the tepung price, sugar leaps, rokok Sudan nail , bila lagi tepung even face fiercy competition, just my limited understanding on this. EPS
All it needs is its wheat refineries to be up and running and boom time Charlie. All its other divisions we in the black last quarter and this is year end. I like to think that aidilfitri sales were no included in their last earning results :)
If monday stop rolling down is better, the run must of the counter Ada up this counter lupa to follow. To balance up the act it should or won't follow the trend lah. Still waiting for the coming Q results. Give me a minute hope 2 cts dividen lah, just my 0.5 cents comment, gambatte
Our Malaysian food uses A LOT flour ... so strange its not going up... Seems so range bound! Also imagine Chinese, (noodles) Malay (kueh2) and Indians (roti canai)...expatriates their cakes.... Juz don't understand why its so ssssllloowww going up ...
I believe this stock financial result is not so good. The stock is moving down slowly. Wait it the moving down further, then collect it. I don't think so they will announce dividen in this month. Wait & see.
1)Flour production 2)Poultry integration and 3)feeds and trading in feeds ingredients
last round (2) & (3) very strong, but (1) was rather flat due to the prolonged drought, especially in the States. Unfortunately, flour production remains their main contribution.
better revenue but lower profit due to challenging environment and volatile costs as management observed. No dividends! Price will be subdued for the rest of 2012. i like the thought that flour division is firming up. Lets see for 2013 then :)
sob sob, i knew revenue will be good, because just after the festive seasons, but sadly, profit eroded due to margin squeeze from the high priced grain (livestock) and wheat (flour).
nonetheless, am glad all the three segment remains in the black. price range should be subdued until the cost can come down!
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
