An AmInvestment Bank independent advice circular today found the offer price to shareholders in the ongoing mandatory take-over of Malaysian Aica (Maica) by new shareholder Ter Leong Yap as “not fair” and “not reasonable.”
cindylim, it is not a mandatory take-over of Maica. It is unconditional general offer. The offeror (Ter) does NOT intend to invoke Section 222 of the CMSA to compulsorily acquire any outstanding offer shares.
The closing date for the offer for EcoW was 12 Nov 2013. The closing price on 12 Nov and 13 Nov were at RM 2.12. The closing price of EcoW shot up to RM 2.50 on 18 Nov. What do you think?
If you dont understand the RTO play, u better dont involve in the share. It is just a show just to comply to bursa requirement. No wonder street play always lose in this game
