Current price is already priced in the the factor of stronger demand and sellng prices of the Group's paper.

Profit would be partially off set by the increase of cost in the manufacturing division. If the increase in the selling price amidst strong demand continue to the end of the year, it could result in increase in EPS of 10-15 Sen per share conservatively .... :)

Industrial paper price has increased by rm300 per ton....? Is it right? The capacity of Muda is 475,000 tons per annum?

So the potential increase in revenue this year will easily exceed rm100M?

So increase of EPS by 10-15 Sen should be reasonable and conservative...

It is quite strange also why it dropped so much from 1.80 after surging to 1.80 Probably the earlier rise was due to some speculations.....but it is resilient at 1.50+.....

Generally, those working in the paper industry also said business is good and price has increased....

Taiwan biggest paper manufacturer Chen Loong share price surged from 11+ in Nov/Dec 16 to 17+ in Jan/Feb 17, which is historical high. Now, it has retraced to 14.60 ... This maybe due to profit taking.... Muda may also be the same...

chkhooju, why you are so confident.... though I am as confident but would like to hear more from you...

Anyway, I did my research and found that worldwide paper prices gone up due to shortage of supply from China as Chineses authority carry out Environment compliance rulings and many smaller paper mills were forced to close...

chiok87 3cents dividend considered very good ard for share price range within rm1 to rm 2. Even genting share price rm9 above only gave 12cents, how can u be so greedy, we as human we must be very grateful to what have being received! If u wan to have 30cents, i believe this stock can give u more than 30cents and above just be patient we will see afterward!

Paper packaging manufacter Muda expects its RM34mil paper glaze machine to start its run next month. 1/7/16. Expansion will see the Kajang plant doubling its capacity over the next few years, from existing production of 3,000 tonnes a month. Deputy Director Datuk Lim said investment, RM15mil would be for building a plant adjacent to its current facility in Kajang, while remaining RM35mil will be for purchasing machinery from Germany. It will take a few years to realise it's full potential.
