IN THE NET ASSETS OF PM CORP. AT NAV 42 SEN PM CORP IS SELLING AT MORE THAN 50% DISCOUNT
AND THESE ARE THE PROFITS
1) THERE IS A REVIVAL OF PROPERTY PRICES IN SINGAPORE. OUR PENTHOUSE IN ORCHARD ROAD HAS GONE UP IN PRICES. AND EVEN MORE DUE TO STRONG SING DOLLAR
2) IKEA TEBRAU HAS OPENED TO OVERWHELMING RSPONSE
OUR 4,500 SQ FT SEMI D FACTORY IS LOCATED ONLY 5 MINUTES AWAY IN DESA CEMERLANG INDUSTRIAL PARK. . IT HAS A BOOK VALUE OF ONLY RM280,000 (IF REVALUED IT SHOULD BE OVER RM1 MILLIONS BY NOW)
3) 6 ACRES OF INDUSTRIAL LANDS IN SHAH ALAM STILL AT OLD BOOK VALUE
4) ANOTHER FACTORY IN HONG KONG SHOULD HAVE GONE UP A LOT IN VALUE IN THE CURRENT HOT BOOM TIME IN HONG KONG
SO PM CORP IS SITTING ON UNSEEN GOOD PROFITS IN ITS PRIME ASSETS & ALSO INVESTMENTS
SO PM CORP IS HIGHLY DEFENSIVE WITH NET CASH AND NET INVESTMENT AND NET REAL ESTATE VALUE.
This is one classic example of a value trap. A few years have passed. But its price still languishes at low levels. It did not ride on Bursa's bull cycles...
Investors must pin hopes on any sale of property/asset or cash distribution to have a short price rally, pumped up by the operator.
The recent agm, a suggestion to the board of directors to utilised 17 mil of retained earnings for share buyback. The md, Mr Wong said they will consider this proposal. At 18cts can buy up 90 mil shares! Will they do it???
Shares buyback, if ever approved, will usually be carried out by a company in cumulative quantities over time where the share price is perceived to have hit too low a market price(its trigger buyback price).
Do not expect the company to buy up aggressively for stale bulls to offload or sell high.
Max buyback only 10% of paid up capital. At the recent agm, buyback already passed. So it's up to the board to initiate buy back. 17 mil of retained earnings can b used for buyback. The treasury shares were bought at a much higher price than 18cts?
Talking about Holland tickets, I somehow feel pity for Calvin Tan. He had shared his fervent knowledge about this company, only to benefit the countless traders who had made good bucks trading from it.
For those still holding on to it, it is a different story, if considering the opportunity cost.
I agree with you John1234 , hes much better than the tin kosong who really makes shallow ,hollow noises with no facts and figures to back up.To follow or not its entirely your own choice.
I think Leno Cat is too ashamed to face her supporters. She promoted this counter even at around 28 to 30 sen when it enjoyed a strong push by the sharks.
Luckily, I read a few smart forumers' comments and did not buy her story.....
