CGS-CIMB estimates that Dnex could see its earnings enjoy a compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of 453% from 2021-2024 driven by higher selling prices of its wafer products and production volume from Silterra as well as Ping based on rising crude oil prices.
“Dnex enjoys a lower effective tax rate given that as of July 2021 Silterra had over RM12bil in unrecognised deferred tax assets.
”Note that we have yet to account for contributions from emerging technology platforms like silicon photonics that command premium average selling prices and commercialisation of Ping’s Avalon oilfield,”CGS-CIMB Research says in a recent report.
HLIB Research notes that Ping benefits from low operating expenses per barrel of US$20 (RM84) and a break-even figure of US$25 (RM105) per barrel.
“In the event of an oil price crash, we are comforted by the fact that these low opex levels provide shelter from going into deep operating losses.
“With that, we deem the Anasuria assets to be a valuable cash cow. Meanwhile, we estimate the unit’s breakeven price to be at about US$45 (RM189) per barrel on the net level,” the research house points out.
many good views on DNEX but price looks unable to sustain above rm1 recently, looks like some sharks are dumping above RM1, i saw many times once the price hit btw 1.02 to 1.04 then dropped again....
Last Friday,Tan Seri sounded Silterra listing is on the table,to raise Funds to continue to grow Silterra semiconductor business. This is good news to all the Dnex shareholders who are mostly retailers,as Silterra shares will be allocated to them.Hope this will spur more investors to buy n keep Dnex shares longer terms, instead of as now make a few cents Run!
To increase the capacity from 8.5 million annually to 10 million requires RM350 million - 60% ( DNeX RM210) million. The Avalon oil field requires RM100 million - (alternatively looking for partner) The Avalon could have the capability of to produce 5000 -7000 barrels a day. Total fund required for this two projects is RM310 million. UK government can remove barriers facing investors and developers, and help projects come online more quickly at North Sea and the Avalon Oil Field is in position to take advantage of it.
It is all up to the group MD Syed Zainal to manoeuvre to benefit DNeX but he did mention that he needs to create value first individually - Silterra and Ping
DNEX completed the acquisition of an additional 60 per cent stake in PING Petroleum Limited, expanding its holdings to 90 per cent It also completed the acquisition of 60 per cent equity interest in SilTerra Malaysia Sdn Bhd from Khazanah Nasional Berhad SilTerra also entered into a wafer supply and purchase agreement worth US$400 million with ChipOne
