choysun，if base on previous historical evidence, once announce empire resort related news, Genm will have selling pressure. But looking at today genm price still seem solids which is good … good uptrend chart, and might really break 3.3 soon

I only have 20% park in Genm but i sold 10% today and shift to Genting! So now i have 70% of my investment in Genting and only 10% in Genm! Reason, i believe Genting will have much much higher returns as precedent quarters will be a huge bonanza given oil and palm high price! As for latest Empire Resort capital injection, it's actually already talked about in April and long term debt has been issued to cover the latest 150 million injection! Fitch even gave positive outlook for Empire Resort as business has been profitable of late!

Actually Empire Resort need to clear 350 million short term debt but only 150 milion was injected! Meaning, things are turning around faster than expected! So yeah, still need injection every now and then but if things goes well, i don't think there's need for further injection!
Bare in mind, Newsburgh gaming should be open by early next year! Another cash cow for Genm!

The proposed equity injection will be funded through proceeds from GenM's US$1 billion bond issuance completed on April 20.

"With this proposed equity injection, GenM would have invested a total of up to US$524.4 million in Empire," the group said.
