not surprising hup seng price is RM10.00 on opening price calculated b4 split n bonus...
if 1.3x6.65=8.64
1.35*6.65=8.97
1.4-6.65=9.31
1.5*6.65=9.97 approx. RM 10.00 is no surprice!

I agree with you. The boss of HUP SENG is holding most of the shares. If after split, the price is very low, cannot raise funds for projects. Hup Seng will work very hard to push up before x.

no Joel . It's (8.00/5) = 1.60 then (1.60x3) /4 = 1.20 after split and bonus . so after split and bonus may go higher then 1.20 .

Buy 3 mother shares now will get 20k Hup seng shares @10cts. face val. Buy 300units will get 2k Hup Seng shares @ 10cts. face val. For 1 share after split may be around 1.20 it depands on the last trading day to cal.

1.60 x3 / 4 is to offset the bonus issue they gave, to avoid double bonus issue

Joel, if u only buy 1 lot then u will end up with odd lot after split n bonus issued. Therefore it's better for u to buy 1,200 shares n if at RM8 then the amount will be RM9,600. After split n bonus u will end up with 8,000 shares which is RM1.20 per share. I hope I'm correct.
