Enough is enough, after the tantrums, frustration being poured out. All being said, let's stop sulking and fretting. If NTPM investors want better times ahead, must get hold of ourselves.
No investors would want to come invest in NTPM if they see present investors 'merajuk', pessimistic, bad sentiments, etc.
Let's rally afresh with positive data , news, etc which will help boost confidence and elevate NTPM stock price.
Pakai toilet paper 3-ply tak senang koyak (l.o.l) Tolong tanya kat Mr Lee apa pasal toilet paper NTPM banyak ikut ISO standard, tapi dia punya syer tak dak ISO!
Thanks fortunebullz. What concerns me profit margin. How to 'neutralise' or 'kautim' margin selling? If not, forum members kena dikautim, tonight many unpleasant dreams.
this is from latest annual report... dun sell la wei... good thing coming so near...
Progress in Vietnam Tissue Expansion
The construction of factory building is expected to be completed in September 2014 and the current on-going installation of paper making and converting machines are scheduled for commissioning in November 2014. As of 30 April 2014, we have incurred a total of USD15 million out of USD20 million allocated for the project. For FY2014, losses from pre-commencement activities amounted to RM0.9 million out of which RM0.4 million was attributable to amortization of land use rights.
for me price now is unacceptable low... not sure when management will start buying back share and what price will trigger that. but on AGM already accept 10% share buyback.
Following tomatoman79, here are the NTPM business development that interest me, * focus on Indo-China and Thailand, outside of Malaysia and Singapore. See http://www.theedgemalaysia.com/highlights/273060-interview-indochina-the-next-frontier-for-ntpm.html * Successfully penetrate some of the hypermarkets in Thailand, which contribute growth in paper segment. * tissue paper machines are scheduled for commissioning in Vietnam, November 2014. * good business with diapers, and one more unit of pants-type diapers machine with be commissioning somewhere in December 2014. * in terms of market share, NTPM has more than 50% in tissue paper products, 10% in baby diapers and 30% in sanitary towels (quoted from news above).
If scheduled buyback @ low price, we can also schedule our additional buy to take advantage of cheap price. Ha, ha. BTW, xiao mi, during buy back company buys back its own shares through open market at predetermined price on specified or non-specified day, reasons among them to protect co interest e.g. stock price going down drastically
Xiao Mi, collect your coming dividends first. Look from another angle. Lower price is also the starting point for further growth to higher price! As long as the company applies prudent management with foresight and sharp insight, these temporary setbacks can be addressed.
I can see NTPM's potential in overseas markets like Australia. With strong product branding and accreditation, good revenue can be expected from there. As the Aussie dollar is strong, earnings through currency conversion can bring substantial profits to NTPM.
The process in Vietnam May start in November but the positive cash will only be seen in at least six month after. However it's a company that is fundamentally intact. Meanwhile when the price drop to 0.65 you should see people start accumulating and especially the directors.
Put it this way, people will use toilet paper (maybe not so much of mens) but women is the largest consumer here.
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
