Rupa rupanya that rookie is holding Freight no wonder always bad mouthing MBC. Ironically, nothing to brag about MBC as well. Like bro missai said kena covid ady, lame and lumpuh
That commentator in the video sucks. Couldn't even get freight pronounced correctly. Hello, what TEU for bulk carrier, that's for box container shipping jargon la bro.
Malaysia Bulk Carrier missed out on the biggest container shipping/freight rate bull run. Period. They cannot even generate cash consistently, the keyword is consistency.
@pingdan.. exactly, it reached 0.8+ when BDI was at 3000, that's why I said Maybulk by right should be at 0.80-0.90 now as BDI already up to 4000.. thanks to Malaysia politics we still can add at 0.67..
wallstreetrookie I don't care. I am short Maybulk. See who wins in the end 16/07/2021 12:15 AM
Still, dont dare come out bet with me.. only hide behind become a keyboard warrior. Hahahaha. Still, say see who will win? No action talk only ah?
wallstreetrookie Perhaps don't put too much money in Maybulk. Price target: RM0.08 18/07/2021 11:05 AM
I laugh loud at this. this year Q1+Q2+Q3 (pure profit) will be near to 8sen. TP RM0.08? u sell to me ah? oklo i buy from u RM0.16.. u still can earn 50% right? come out sell to me at RM0.16 :)
wallstreetrookie Why should I talk about impairment losses and financials? Those are public information. Easy to Google. I prefer macro trends and market sentiment. There are plenty of turnaround opportunities and this company is not one of them 18/07/2021 11:06 AM
wallstreetrookie Slow growth in grain trade and gradual QoQ increase in asset impairment expected to exert further downward pressure on upcoming earnings for Malaysia Bulk Carriers Berhad despite optimism and gains in Baltic Exchange Dry Index. The worst is not yet over. 30/07/2021 11:59 AM
Hello where is the impairment u talking about? Where is it? BDI 4000 and got impairment? Hello? U got brain or not?
@pingdan You keep using BDI as a supporting evidence but how can this company capitalise on the bull run? They can't because they're stuck in the endless struggle to "turnaround". Container companies and other well-diversified bulk carriers have reported historical gains not from disposal of assets since Q4 2020.
Why are you bringing up my old price target? I don't want to disappoint you but in my opinion, this company will fold unless some miracle happens or some activist investors swoop in to fully change the company internally.
wallstreetrookie: Why bring up ur old TP? To show how bodoh your comment... Your TP totally not relevant.. So where is the impairment you talk about? Where is the loss making you talking about? Hello? All gain for Q1 and Q2 is all come from disposal of assets? Yes parts of that come from disposal of assets. But most part come from pure profit.
Why i keep talking about BDI? Alamak you dont understand how the company revenue calculate? How u know the revenue and profit in coming quarter? I really doubt you really do any homework on this company. That's why you coming out with the TP RM0.08?
@pingdan.. ya, in Taiwan some went up 10x-30x before the sharp correction.. but in Malaysia Maybulk different scenario because Maybulk didn't move too much from the bottom..
@KML889 then can you explain to me how did Rubberex, Comfort, Careplus, Adventa, heck even Mahsing went up so high in share price value back in May,June?
They are not superior and their economies of scale is not as great as the big 4 and other larger size glove companies.
Hello Mr Moon99, 1st of all ships and any other carriers are bulky tangible assets by numbers. If you own 1 ship means 1 and you simply cannot rev up your production machines to produce 2 vessels overnight. Right. Unlike the gloves segments which they could simply adjust production needs based on economics scheduling to meet super normal demands during this pandemics. Try and ask MBC to give you 250 ships tomorrow if you can with Time charter or Bareboat charter to build economic moat
Thanks for explaining the economic moat about the bulk carrier industry. And I think you yourself already said it -- Supernormal demands. That's what I'm trying to highlight. It's not about how fast the company is aggressively expanding its production (and I do understand the shipping industry is cyclical, so no point expanding so quickly), but it's about the one-time supernormal profits that they will be generating in the next 1-2 years. Unfortunately, there's no follow-through interest in this counter, but I hope that there will be, once MBC can show even impressive earnings in the next few quarters. Just like how no one cared about FPI back then.
It's Make or Break scenario. Imagine if this super normal events can't lift MBC ships (price), i really don't know what will. Echoing 9963 catchphrase, Good Luck !!!
I'm not sure about you guys la, but the potential 100M+ net profit for the coming two quarters (of course with one offs) sounds good to me.. especially when Maybulk share price didn't really move compared to overseas dry bulk companies that went up more than 1000%.. anyway it's your choice..
I see how much he can block.. now the other index share is back. If the bull continue, next will be mid cap like maybulk start to move. Hence everytime this fellow shark push down the share price, i will topup this share. As BDI getting higher day by day, the risk to invest this share getting lower
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
