All are effects from: 1. Anti-Dumping Duties on imported CRC 2. Increase in Price of China CRC 3. Import duty exempted HRC from Oversea after close of Megasteel (Saving RM400++ per tonne)
pingdan please at least do more homework before you comment here. don't simply talk using your mouth. 50% of CSCSTEL HRC are bought from Megasteel. now that Megasteel is closed down, they buy from their parent do your homework and you will know.
With regards to the low inventory level, kindly be informed that previously half of our raw material requirements are from third party whose supply is erratic thus a higher level of inventory is required. However now all our requirement is supplied from parent company and on time thus we do not need to keep a higher level of inventory.

If you are saying now and future, yes, I agree with you. Of course noone buy from Megasteel now, since they are closed. But if they reopen back, IF, then all are forced to buy the higher priced lower quality HRC from them again.
nope i disagree with you. i dun tink megasteel will come back. they suffer huge net liabilites in their company. if they unable to pay the debt, who wan to lend hem money? unless they liquidated their company and setup another new company. but if they wan to do so, i took alot of time to do so
Pls sell if you have shares in your hand and wish you happy if have made profit and if your basis of buying and selling is based on someone's else action. Good luck!
Conclusion: Among all the companies that will benefit from the Megasteel closure is CSC Steel which will benefit the most because it is largest manufacturer of flat steel plates, wires and other steel products. It has Rm 320 million cash, no borrowings and its total issued shares is 370 million.
Imagine a market leading company offered to sell at 60000, with cash in bank of RM30000 and coming year's RM10,000, with expectation of 50% dividend payout. Will you buy?
