Hektar REIT announced its first acquisition of an educational asset, KYSM, for RM150 million. The acquisition of the private boarding school will increase Hektar REIT’s assets under management by 12.4% to RM1.36 billion from RM1.21 billion currently.

The PP is going to 35m , out of the total RM150 million. Dilution from the pp might not seems as much as you do, so I'm not worried about dilution if going for long term.

The acquisition is for the long run... the new asset, KYSM is a private educational institution and school fees are around 40k per year, thus are going to generate good return for Hektar

After the acquisition of KYS College Sdn Bhd, the total asset value of Hektar is expected to grow by RM150 million or 12%. Good deal ~

always got chance to reach 70c, dilution is short term only & Hektar is the best performing/dividend payout reit in 2023

EV charging station are gonna be a norm soon, Hektar probably gonna be more involved in EV related infrastructure in near future too

Went to Mahkota Parade recently and saw the technicians there changing the lights to PHILIPS PROFESSIONAL LED Lighting. Certain section of the mall (in front of Parkson) is now very bright and according the technician it is also much more efficient, saving even more energy. Not sure how true is this but I do hope it is true as this would mean lower cost = higher profits = more dividends to shareholders.

Retailers are less optimistic on the spending power of Malaysian consumers during the current quarter.

RGM had revised downwards third quarter growth rate from 3% to 1.4%. This is a 53% drop from the earlier projection.

Hektar's PE is 4.41 x only currently with around RM1.2 in NTA. Extremely undervalued

Overall market seems to recover in a steady pace, REITS including hektar etc earning should be improving on 2nd half of the year as well
