Hektar REIT announced its first acquisition of an educational asset, KYSM, for RM150 million. The acquisition of the private boarding school will increase Hektar REIT’s assets under management by 12.4% to RM1.36 billion from RM1.21 billion currently.
The PP is going to 35m , out of the total RM150 million. Dilution from the pp might not seems as much as you do, so I'm not worried about dilution if going for long term.
The acquisition is for the long run... the new asset, KYSM is a private educational institution and school fees are around 40k per year, thus are going to generate good return for Hektar

Went to Mahkota Parade recently and saw the technicians there changing the lights to PHILIPS PROFESSIONAL LED Lighting. Certain section of the mall (in front of Parkson) is now very bright and according the technician it is also much more efficient, saving even more energy. Not sure how true is this but I do hope it is true as this would mean lower cost = higher profits = more dividends to shareholders.
