mark my phariah words...big sales is coming;
- govt is allowing another round of EPF withdrawals to cushion for the impact of this indefinite lockdown...EPF is motivated to sell to have liquidity to enable withdrawals...when EPF throws, we buy....
- furthermore, next Qtr result is going to be so - so due to the prolonged lockdown, all putting a downward pressure on the share price.

remember the mantra (only applicable for this counter) - when they bash down this counter, we kutip at the side

There is no basis to what you are saying. Gamuda is the construction giant. Temporary down due to emco.. if you believe Emco will be lifted in the next few weeks which i do, then its the right time

the MRT Line 2 is supposed to open its Phase 1 by this month ( July 21 ), later adjusted to Aug 21 and now becomes Mid-Nov 21. As this project is no longer under PDP, the delay is eating up the main contractor ( MMC-gamuda ) & all work package contractors & subcontractors' profits. I presume, this will also impact the Phase-2 as well ( May 2022 ?? ), although may not be that large impact. this is a very bad news.

If Line 3 is not kicking off soon with award of main contractors, the market will have many excess staffs.

damage already done. anyway, adding to pjflower's comments, launching of MRT3 seems to be difficult as government's budget is an issue now despite their wish to start it as soon as 3 months from last 2 months. in addition, the Penang's 3 islands will take many years to do land reclamation works. can easily image how many years needed before building works. as in Australia & UK, not so soon to secure any project. if end of this year still do not secure any big scale project, you can imagine how many staff are going to be laid off.

Correction:

MRT2 is under PDP now. MMC-gamuda becomes sub-contractor under PDP. In fact PDP is eating up the profit from MMC-gamuda
