Parkson has deep value in the assets they owned in China. Their Malls have not been revalued and are sitting on big gains vs. the value in their books. The North Building Parkson Plaza along Fuxingmen Street in Beijing which has been renovated and leased out for Office use is generating huge rental income. Bank of China is one of the key tenants.
Parkson continue to generate strong positive cash flow and is an indication of good management. It is a testament to their ability to stay afloat during the difficult times. Their ability to sustain the business in China since the entry in 1994 show that they understand the China retail market well.
Long term value investors will benefit immensely as the retail market pick up more steam as the Gomen is cutting lending rates to provide more impetus to the recovery post-pandemic, cheers.
PS PSS do not be unduly influenced by high cash balance as this is a feature of shopping emporiums who holds cash for long periods before paying suppliers, earning interest income.
if you classify Parkson as "Property counter" then a lot of property counters tend to trade at 50% of NTA. Parkson tend to sell properties to get cash. if 50% of NTA => TP = 65 sen, there is still some upside as well.

We wait to see further rerating on PHB price next week. WC is confident Parkdon will be able to achieve long term sustainable growth and profitability going forward. FYI, PRGL had paid dividends from year 2006 till 2018. The resumption of dividend payment in 1H 2023 for PRGL signify that WC is confident of much better days ahead, cheers.

The volumes this morning has been very positive as it shows lots of enthusiasm on the stock. Thee are exciting times for Parkson. If Fund Mgrs decide to re-enter Parkson believing the turnaround is sustainable, then the price has legs to run much higher up, cheers.
Parkson business strong qtrs are Qtr 1, 2 and 4. Qtr 3 is the weakest as there is not much activity in Malaysia, so, China has to assist. If Parkson can still do well, then the business has definitely turnaround, cheers.
