Counter is undervalued since it's last share-split. Now that it is affordable for small-time investors, the prices continue to be depressed. Makes on wonder why. It's probably due to many factors, including the economic gloom experienced worldwide and lately, the Trump-China spat. Does private healthcare have a future in Malaysia? If so, how does KPJ, as the largest private healthcare provider reap benefit?

If you are looking at defensive stock, this could be it. Even in bad times, company profits will remain or rise. Even if stock players panic, some will suffer heart attacks and get admitted in places like KPJ.

@Christine I would invest more if I had spares. This is one heck of a stock if you know its business. I consider it the 7-11 of private hospitals. You know the service is so-so, the price pretty high, but it's everywhere. Seriously, except in Klang Valley, there are very few competitors for its outlets. Not like 7-11 which now attract Super 99 and the likes
