short-mid term rise is possible and sustainable due to good result from recovery in selling price and volume. huge demand from China due to China 14th Five Years Plan to boost commodity reserve. This is also evidenced by the rising of dry bulk cargo prices and counters like Maybulk and similar commodity/metal China listed counters. Infrastructure is the safest play for all governments to boost GDP post covid recovery. The tide will lift all boats.

Why should we look into Tashin?

1. Tashin posted strong Q3FY20 results as their net profit was up by 1134% on QOQ basis and 183% YOY. Revenue for the quarter was the highest ever since their IPO in 2019.

2. Malaysia has started with some of the latest mega projects like ECRL & RTS which definitely requires steel therefore the demand for steel will increase.

Conclusion

As we can see from the quarterly performance of Tashin we can see that Tashin has definitely up it’s ante as their result soared up quite significantly.

With the major mega projects now already kick start steel will see it’s demand to increase therefore local steel players will definitely benefit from this.

Iron ore price has being going up and Companies like ChooBee & CSCSteel has shown quite good result. This is probably a step moving ahead in tandem with the demand of iron.

Be extremely careful of AnnJoo. The stock is controlled by a group of cunning sharks. They will dump the shares on you when you least expect ! Steel industry in Malaysia is a dead industry especially if it is public listed.

if 1 counter up, it can be categorised as manipulation by selected group of people. if all the stocks in the same sector rise, then it is the rising tide. Rising tide lifts all boats. Ann Joo, Masteel, Melewar, SSteel, AISB, etc all also up.

Below 0.90 would be a safe bet. The selling price for steel keep going up, and it will sustain until next year.
