Ytlpowr's profits comes almost completely from its power supply division..Its communication division has been a drain on its resources for many years ..till last quarter when it made a small profit from a cable laying project in east malaysia..Doubt the recent corruption investigations would impact the company in a significant way..

Please do your personal research & don't trust anyone. (sifus, gurus, remisier or even fund manager)

I can only say use fundamental method as core to calculate its fair value & use technical method to assist.

For now, please stay away from YTLPower if you haven't invest.

It will be a GOOD news if MACC charge the company now. Paling takut dia drag.

Hold your cash tight. Chances of US job data turn sour is high. As FEB reduced about 800K job expectation not too long ago in order to make the report looks good.

YTL crony is good frog, can jump to close to any politician as long as in power. Previously, M is in powerr, secure first IPP, M and Muhy in power, secure Ibestarinet. So, when A in power secure Sabah telco infra project.

But, now MACC investigate missing cash, false claim in previous job like Ibestarinet, if evidence valid, A definitely will distance from frog, may even wihtdraw frog qualification for gov work like upcoming HSR erc

Noticed that as YTL & YTLP stocks drop, almost all sectors and counters drops as well. Foreign investors buy a lot of YTL & YTLP shares previously, and then buy other stocks(include Tech stocks,etc). The only stock foreign buyers are still holding firmly are finance stocks. So, don't happy if you guys see the YTL stocks falling, other stocks will follow also. At certain time if YTL stocks fall too much, bank stocks will also fall as well. YTL stocks are the pillars of Bursa stocks. If YTL stocks collapse, BUSRA stocks will follow too.

YTL should not participate in HSR project anymore as the investigation on YTLcomm Ibestarinet until the case is clear. Sound like familiar right?
Instead of waiting for investigation result, YTLcomm PR team should make the payment doubt transparent to the public so as the risk can be minimized.
