SHAH ALAM – Menteri Besar, Mohamed Azmin Ali masih tetap menyalahkan Kerajaan Pusat ekoran kegagalan memuktamadkan penstrukturan industri perkhidmatan air di negeri ini.

Beliau menuduh Kerajaan Pusat yang sengaja berdolak dalih dalam isu tersebut yang menyebabkan kerajaan negeri tidak boleh bersetuju dengan perkara-perkara tertentu untuk melaksanakan perjanjian utama penstrukturan industri air Selangor.

“Jangan salahkan kerajaan negeri, kita sudah sedia tandatangani mengikut persetujuan yang telah dicapai termasuk yang ditulis oleh Menteri Tenaga, Teknologi Hijau dan Air sendiri,” katanya.

Mohamed Azmin turut menafikan kenyataan Timbalan Menteri Tenaga, Teknologi Hijau dan Air, Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid di Dewan Negara pada 7 Julai lalu yang menyatakan kerajaan negeri telah menangguhkan pemberian permit untuk pembinaan loji rawatan air Langat 2 (Langat 2) yang mana kelewatan menyiapkan projek itu dikhuatiri menyebabkan krisis bekalan air di Lembah Klang dalam keadaan yang tenat pada tahun 2017.

“Langat 2 pembangunannya kita setuju pada prinsipnya, Tetapi kerajaan persekutuan perlu patuhi peraturan yang ditetapkan oleh pihak berkuasa tempatan,” jelasnya tanpa menamakan secara terperinci peraturan tersebut.

Sebelum ini, Mahdzir menegaskan krisis bekalan air yang melanda Lembah Klang diramalkan tenat 2017 jika kerajaan negeri masih enggan memuktamadkan perjanjian air termasuk melengah-lengahkan pembinaan Langat 2 yang masih tertangguh.

Menurutnya, bekalan air yang ada ketika ini tidak akan bertahan selepas 2017 memandangkan margin rizab sumber itu tidak sampai dua peratus sedangkan jumlah yang diperlukan adalah 10 hingga 15 peratus seperti yang ditetapkan Suruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Air Negara (SPAN).

Tegas Mahdzir, walaupun pembinaan terowong air mentah sudah disiapkan, namun pembinaan Langat 2 masih pada tahap 20.65 peratus berbanding dijadualkan iaitu 24.91 peratus berikutan tindakan kerajaan negeri menangguhkan pemberian kelulusan dan permit yang diperlukan untuk pembinaannya.

Dedah Dokumen Perbincangan Jika Penstrukturan Semula Air Gagal - Azmin

SHAH ALAM, 9 Julai (Bernama) -- Kerajaan Selangor telah menyediakan notis penjelasan dan surat perbincangan dengan kerajaan persekutuan berkaitan proses memuktamadkan perjanjian utama penstukturan semula industri perkhidmatan air di negeri ini untuk didedahkan kepada umum.

Menteri Besar Selangor Mohamed Azmin Ali berkata kandungan dokumen itu akan didedahkan sekiranya kerajaan persekutuan tidak menunjukkan komitmen dan gagal memuktamadkan perjanjian air itu dalam tempoh terdekat.

"Saya sudah siapkan nota penjelasan yang akan kami edarkan pada masa yang sesuai termasuk surat-surat yang telah menyatakan persetujuan kedua-dua pihak berhubung isu ini.

"Sekiranya tiada komitmen oleh kerajaan persekutuan saya terpaksa mendedahkan apa-apa perkara yang telah diputuskan," katanya kepada pemberita selepas mempengerusikan mesyuarat Majlis Tindakan Ekonomi Negeri Selangor di sini hari ini.

Beliau berkata kerajaan negeri serius untuk memuktamadkan perjanjian itu dan pihaknya tidak pernah mengubah prinsip perjanjian itu.

"Jangan salahkan kerajaan negeri, kami telah setuju dan bagi komitmen untuk memuktamadkan perjanjian ini.

"Saya juga telah mengambil langkah tambahan bertemu dengan perdana menteri dan timbalan perdana menteri baru-baru ini untuk berbincang dan mencari jalan penyelesaian berhubung isu ini," katanya.

Pada Selasa lepas, Mohamed Azmin dilaporkan berkata penstrukturan semula industri perkhidmatan air di Selangor yang sepatutnya dimuktamadkan dalam masa terdekat mungkin ditangguhkan lagi berikutan kerajaan negeri telah menerima notis daripada Pejabat Peguam Negara menyatakan bahawa kerajaan negeri perlu menyerahkan aset tanahnya kepada kerajaan persekutuan dalam melaksanakan penstrukturan itu.

Mohamed Azmin turut dilaporkan berkata penangguhan itu juga disebabkan sikap Kementerian Tenaga, Teknologi Hijau dan Air yang sering berdolak-dalik dan menukar pendirian mereka dalam menyelesaikan perkara itu.

Semalam, Ketua Ssetiausaha Kementerian itu, Datuk Loo Took Gee bagaimanapun menafikan dakwaan Mohamed Azmin dan menjelaskan perjanjian itu mengambil masa lebih lama untuk dimuktamadkan ekoran tuntutan berterusan oleh kerajaan Selangor ke atas dua aset persekutuan, iaitu Loji Rawatan Air Semenyih dan Loji Rawatan Air Bukit Nenas.

roger, Puncak barely moves over the past 6 months, trading between 2.5x and 3.1x, with the range between 2.60 - 2.80 the most occurrence. On the other hand, over the past 2 weeks, most stocks have fallen (I guess its at least over 80%.) So, in the way, not too bad given only hurdle with Puncak now is a water restructuring completion.

Land is expensive in Selangor. Prolintas is offering to buy terrance houses at 2.5mil each to
build their elevated highway (some where the new pipping starts). 1/2 Km away bangalows
are selling 7mil to 5mil each. Just imagine 26,000km

Reveal Discussion Documents If Water Restructuring Fail To Be Finalised - Azmin Ali

SHAH ALAM, July 9 (Bernama) -- The Selangor government has prepared the notice of clarification and discussion papers with the Federal Government on the process of finalising the main agreement for the restructuring of the water services industry in the state to be revealed to the public.

Selangor Menteri Besar Mohamed Azmin Ali said the contents of the documents would be revealed if the federal government did not show the commitment and failed to finalise the water agreement in the near future.

"I have completed the notice of clarification which we will distribute at the right time including the letters which state the agreement of both parties on the issue.

"If there is no commitment by the Federal Government, I have to reveal what has been decided," he told reporters after chairing the Selangor Economic Action Council here today.

He said the state government was serious in finalising the agreement and had never changed the principles of the agreement.

"Do not blame the state government, we have agreed and given our commitment to finalise the agreement.

"I have also made the extra effort of meeting with the Prime Minister and the Deputy Prime Minister recently to discuss the issue and find ways to resolve it," he said.

On Tuesday, Mohamed Azmin was reported as saying the restructuring of the water services industry in Selangor which should have been finalised soon might be delayed again after the state government received a notice from the Attorney-General's Office that the state government had to hand over its land assets to the Federal Government for the implementation of the restructuring.

Mohamed Azmin was also quoted as saying that the delay was due to the attitude of the Ministry of Energy, Green Technology and Water which frequently dilly-dallied and changed their stand on resolving the matter.

However, yesterday the secretary-general of the ministry, Datuk Loo Took Gee denied Mohamed Azmin's allegations and said the agreement took a long time to be finalised due to the continuing claims made by the Selangor government for two Federal assets, the Semenyih Water Treatment Plant and the Bukit Nenas Water Treatment Plant.
