It has been a great journey from 16th Jan 2013 till to date , 5th May 2017. 4 years & 4 months. From RM 1.48 to current RM 4.94 x 1.5 ( 2 to 1 bonus issue on 6th November 2015) = RM 7.41 - disregarding all the dividend received. Almost 5 times multiple.

If this is not the evidence of power of compounding on value investing, I'm not certain what else qualify.

Magni Tech seems almost fairly valued. What's the long term ROE? If it will be sustained above 25% then current P/BV of 2.1X makes the stock undervalued. But that seems risky, no, expecting long term ROE of 25% which is higher than the historical norm? This could explain why P/BV is lagging increase in ROE. If Magni keeps ROE above 25% expect the P/BV to catch up. But if it hits any major issues and if ROE falls expect a selloff to ensue. Long story short, not much margin of safety here. Could be a good play but sensitive to a decrease in profit.

well at the end of the day, investors need to ask upon purchasing, what we get in return? For a company that seems to be growing quite rapidly ( > 20 % for the past 3Q alone), a PE of 8 seems to be cheap. Padini is hardly growing and is getting a PE of more than 11. Don't forget that they are on track to hit Rm1 billion in revenues this financial year. Will this continue? Nike targeted US$50 billion in revenues by 2020 and this year, Nike has grown their global garment segment by 9% for 3Q this year alone. Don't forget all the sports deals they have been making as well. Also consider the dividends that you will be getting. This company has consistently paid out 30-35% of net profits as dividends since 2007. Current dividend yield is 4.3% which is more than what FD can offer you. What happens when dividend grows according to net profit? What will be your dividend yield based on the cost today then?

Although all sounds good, do not forget about customer concentration risk. But then again, their executive director just bought 1million shares from the market so what does that mean?

Luckily my brakes pad very powerful and never skidded . I sold some but still holding some at hand and at least can reach RM 6 in a short period of time . Waiting to buy more when dropped back a bit.
